@jeremykistler2279 The NBA doesn't want him forcing his beliefs on others or engaging in homophobia and hiding it behind religion; that's what he did in Golden State, that's what got him fired, and that's why he hasn't had a coaching job since.
To hell with their blessing, they need to shut up and deliver! Lebron told ownership to get rid of everybody in order to bring in Westbrook on a max contract!!
I been wanting Mark Jackson to coach my Lakers 2 coaches ago. The league I think is blackballing Mark. He is better than 2/3 of the head coaches in the league right now ....EASY!
The only thing that will help the Lakers will be at least 2 young players that are not afraid to attack the rim! They need a coach that will sit players down if they start shooting unnecessary 3 pointers!
There's only 1 person that could do this job and get it right because he'd have the backup of the organization but he won't leave the spurs. He will gold everybody on the lakers accountable
JJ Reddick/ Sam Cassell are the coaches of the Lakers, they are more knowledgeable of the game than any of the current candidates that have been considered. They are your coach that will take the team far into the future as well as a minimal contract initially. They will manage the locker room along with input from veterans LeBron and AD; they are players coachs and understands the needs of there coaching staff. We need two real bigs, Valanciunas/Drumond/Dwight ( ie 2020 chip) along side AD, we need a six man, Dramond/Bobby Portes etc. We need a two way guard to manage Jamall Murry and Anthony Edwards.... Demar/Donavan/Caruso/Keli Ubrea/Marcus Smart/JaMonte Murray/Brogden/Bones Hyland . We have the assets, the picks and the money to make this happen. Doc Rivers, Ty Lou, , Chauncey Billups had no direct coaching coming in.
all y'all in the comments are fools if you think Mark Jackson is a good pick. That's like asking someone who hasn't worked in 10 years to go back to his old job and expect him to perform adequately.
I got news for you, he can help him get his 4.5 ring, 5.5 ring, or his 6th ring, and he STILL won't be the greatest. That spot is taken and he missed out in 2011, 2017, 2018, when he got swept twice in the finals, twice in the playoffs, missed the playoffs 4 times, missed the play-in twice, got out-played by role-players, little men on Dallas.....I mean, I could keep going, but it gets darker, much much darker.
@@gregorylawrence9729 Believe all you want. The facts say otherwise. What you believe and what the MAJORITY says and voted, are miles away. Step into reality and stop being delusional like your bum king.
Lakers need to bring in Embiid, KD, Trae Young, Jimmy Butler, Derozan, Klay Thompson and Bronny to pair with LeBron, AD, and Reaves!! I think that will be possibly just enough help for Lebron to feel comfortable enough and maybe able to win a tittle!!
LeBron doesn't want a coach. He wants a shill who'll take the blame if he fails to win a chip. AD is a follower. If LeBron says there's a problem, he will also say it's a problem. LeBron wants yhe accolades but not the smoke. For the Lakers to be successful, AD has to be the primary option. LeBron a secondary key. Until that basic fact is addressed, we'll be having this conversation next year.
It's funny they are acting as of all those coaches got fired. Most did, but this narrative isn't correct. Giannis has had how many already? 6 in 11 years
That's not what LeBron is on though. It's not about the coach, it's about completing the goals he's set for his life. LeBron knows what he needs to accomplish it. LeBron was coached by those guys but he brought championships, on to his next achievement. With Lakers, it's been a bigger problem than at any other organization. Kobe started it there, Magic has a part to play too. We watched Shaq & Kobe go at it. LeBron is looking for the same respect Kobe has, give him what he wants. We've heard the media, the fans , and other ex coaches reject LeBron on account that they're😢 wanting to stop LeBron from completing what he has started in LA so MJ can reign, but the King cannot be replaced because goat MJ is done.
Please hire Coach Jackson! Basketball is in deep trouble especially the Lakers. Player empowerment is ruining the league. Don't care of players get paid more. How could you say you have a head coach, when you allow the players to disrespect them and not be Abel to hold them accountable? No player is above the franchise, especially L.A.
Listen experts, there are 3 franchise where the star players don’t call the shots in the NBA! Dallas, Miami, and Boston! That’s exactly why they’ve been more consistent than most, and continue to thrive. LBJ is a player, he needs to be kept in his lane and told by the ownership and GM to do just that! Hire a coach that you believe in, and support his philosophy by letting him participate in all personnel decisions! LBJ’s salary is too much of a hit against the cap, turn him loose and rebuild! AD disliked Coach Ham because he was the first coach to hold him accountable for his non availability since he’s been in LA! He spent more time in street clothes and sunglasses than he spent on the court! Now that Coach Ham is gone, he’ll be on the sideline for 50 out of 82 games again, I’d trade him as well! Rebuild with a new Coach and players that want to listen to his direction. Mark Jackson would be the best candidate, but he won’t get interviewed because he’s a Christian, son of God!
When you hire a rookie coach to coach all stars it will be a disaster! You need a coach that has the collective respect of the league. A no name or rookie coach can’t coach the lakers…period!
When has the coach ever had power when he doesn't get the job done? If that was the case MJ would've had Doug Collins for his career! Where would MJ be if Doug Collins was his coach for his entire career? There damn sure wouldn't be 6 rings!
Mark Jackson is not going to take this crazy job. He is not crazy. The issue is great players know when to take a back seat. This is ruining LJ's legacy. LJ can go to several teams that are only a player away from winning the Championship. He does not have to stay with the Lakers.
