These awards aren’t based off of popularity it’s based off of artistry and the relevancy of the song just because ur fav didn’t win doesn’t mean that she didn’t deserve to win she put her heart and soul in her artistry just like everyone else! How was this fair? This song literally only has 800k views on youtube so people barely heard of this song. Dababy and lil baby got songs that talk about the same subject and has more streams and views. This award was not earned whatsoever. Now I see why the grammy ratings are getting worse every year.

Yeah I recorded this song in my bedroom at my Mom's house. In front of Beyonce and JayZee who own recording studios in homes, buses and businesses worth hundreds of millions of dollars. . Finneas and Billie same deal write play and record in their bedrooms. It's about talent not about the equipment.
I'm so happy that H.E.R. wins Grammy song of the year and Oscar best song. All of the reasons she gives about the importance of change and so forth are surely valid. But coming from a 63 year old white boy, I'm happy simply because her music is just so darn GOOD - melodies, harmonies, chord progressions and performances of hair-raising beauty and complexity - the fact that she plays several instruments and writes her material - doesn't just sing and strut. And her band is always tight and soulful as it gets! BRAVO for these big, big wins and highest honors, so richly deserved.

We all already know that the Grammys is corrupted. Last year, Grammys ex-CEO, Dugan explained why Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande was subbed for Song of the year in 2019. She said that an artist representatives were allowed to sit on the nomination committee, and even though that artist was ranked 18 out of 20 in the category, they still ended up with a nomination. Also in 2020, it is strange that a new song that no one knew ends up getting song of the year nomination.
H.E.R completely deserved this award because even though it was not as recognized as the other nominees, it was extremely well written and it stands of for human right all around the world so that there csn be some change.
