I fell in love with "Wrong Places" on @NBCSongland!!! "Wrong Places" out now! smarturl.it/xWrongPlaces Follow H.E.R. Instagram: / hermusicoff. . Twitter: / hermusicx Facebook: / officialherm. . #HER #WrongPlaces #Songland
H.E.R is so underrated. She is one of the most talented artists in our R&B/Soul genre. She is beyond amazing and her voice gives me goosebumps, this song suits her voice so well too, it’s literally just the cherry on top
How is everything that she sings so perfect. Always takes my breath away. I truly believe she is the most talented vocalist of our time. Gosh. Never stop PLEASE !!
Am I wrong for loving this acoustic version of this song more than the studio produced version? Both are great but man this version touches my soul deeply. I like it better achy rather than upbeat. This may be an unpopular take also. 🤷🏻♂️
Same! This is the perfect version to me. More so than the produced and released version. It’s almost too upbeat and happy. Just my completely inexperienced in this field opinion.
I'm a 70 year old veteran musician and I love and appreciate this young lady. She is true and loyal to her music. Her talent is unlimited, whether sitting at the piano,or crooning with an acoustic, she is real in every sense. I wish H.E.R. all the best from one of many that you inspire ¥
This version needs to be released on the album. It’s perfect just being this simple, intimate song. The pop-y version released on Spotify just doesn’t hit the same.
I think that cultivating an awareness of the fundamental equality of all human beings is what’s important. We all have the same human body, the same human emotions, and the same human mind. If you get stabbed, you bleed; if I get stabbed, I bleed. If you lose someone you love, you feel sad; and if I lose someone I deeply care about, I feel sad. And if we both reflect on an important truth, we each gain new knowledge.
Looking for love in all the wrong places Looking for us in all the wrong faces I'm always looking for lust when I'm wine-drunk and faded Looking for love, I think we should make it 'Cause I've been feeling lonely Hold me, tell me that you think I'm pretty Show me how to love and then Show me how to love again I was once told I'm too young to settle But age ain't a thing, I'm just too sentimental Looking for someone to write all the words to my instrumental And if I give you my heart, promise you'll be gentle 'Cause I've been feeling lonely Hold me, tell me that you think I'm pretty Show me how to love and then Show me how to love again 'Cause I've been feeling lonely, lonely Tell me that you think I'm pretty Show me how to love and then Show me how to love again Love, love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love, love Love, love, yeah Love, love, love, love, love Love, love, love, love, love again Oh love again
Please, just produce all of the songs that already been made by all of songland's contestants and make us feeling like LIVE again through this unlimited quarantine time!!
If you close your eyes she is Lauryn all over again thank you H.E.R for a timeless classic I love when a song is striped down with pure unapologetic vocals
Mmm. I love her. She’s a genius, singing with such emotion and control and expression while playing the guitar simultaneously. Wondrous, she inspires me.
Out of all the songs that came out of song land, Wrong Places is my favorite. And her playing only the guitar is my favorite version, its so moving and you hear the longing in the song for love.
Totally Awesome, love this. I watched Songland and it was a tough decision all of the songs where amazing. Somehow I knew when I heard this one, I could tell this was exactly for H.E.R.
I believe it’s one of her best performances- your musical range is most evident. It’d be wonderful to hear what HER’s parents thought of that performance... Congratulations and we bid you and your family continued success. Thanks for sharing your musical genius with us.
This is simply an amazing marriage between a great song and a great artist. It hits a lot of emotions and a lot of places when you listen to the song whether you’re a man or a woman. So subtle and nuanced just gorgeous
