I love these discussions. I do not know anyone who I could talk to about like what if we are a simulation, they would either just give me a weird look, tell me I'm crazy, or like say I should pay attention to reality, or something like that. It is great hearing such interesting intellectual discussions.

Traffic lights: (Australia) the flash is an instant photograph of the car passing through the plates but the module also is constantly recording for 2min loops before and after the offence. They simple review the footage against your claim. This is why alot of flash sensitive tapes over plates dont work anymore.

My parents got married on Christmas Day, so I always try to make sure that I wish them a happy anniversary, because I'm sure that it has to be frustrating for it to be constantly forgotten and overshadowed. Doubly so because my mom's birthday is three days later.

Emergency vehicles in my city can change the lights at the intersection that they are at. Eg. If the light is red on the road they are on it will change to green when they approach the intersection. They taught us in elementary school. I don't know the actual process though.

If we're a simulation, we're a pretty advanced one. Just imagine how advanced in technology our creators are then.

I think a lot of questions here would be answered by watching the two episodes of rick and morty that are about simulations.

On the computer simulation theory, I think it would be a bit paradoxical for us to be able to question the fact that we are in a simulation.

the question of if we are in a simulation is one of the many things we would have to discuss in philosophy class back when I went to school, and I freaking hate these questions.

Grey doesn't seem to realize that even if you ran a simulation at 100000x speed it would still take thousands of years for the simulation to reach where we are today.

Speaking of simulations, maybe large extinction events were just "server crashes" on these grander-than-the-universe simulation computers. A lot of data may be lost in a crash, therefore when restoring a back-up, a lot of creatures are no longer extant, and evolution starts again. Perhaps our idea of the beginning of the universe, or the big bang, is just a "cutscene" played at the start of each simulation run for the sake of continuity.

If a car ran a red light on a automatic junction, surely there'd then be a photo of the ambulance doing exactly the same too a few seconds later... Also, I'd hope that Ambulances are tracked via GPS, so it's just a case of confirming where it was on a particular day at a particular time.

We could just be a simulation yes. The way we do advanced ai is to have a bot creating bots with random mutations(random quirks). If we were a simulation, or bots, or ai. wouldn't the easiest way be to "make" the bots, with small mutations, in this case this could be the process we are in, assembly or birth. , "teaching" bots something, if they are good enough they get to live (natural selection). I know i'm a little late to the party on this comment section, and there's a slim chance that brady or cgp grey actually see this comment; but the copyright infringement bit was very frustrating to listen to. Firstly: I'm not a lawyer But its downright shameful that people think your consent is implied when they guilt you into implicit permission. That's not how free use works, that's not how attribution works, that's not how anything under copyright law works at all. If they make money in any way from your product(H.I. is a brand, as well as all of your intellectual property from other channels) you are entitled to all of that money, as well as a fine to discourage further infringements. It doesn't matter if they gave you credit, it doesn't matter if they asked nicely, it doesn't matter if they got your permission under non-financial circumstances. You are entitled to FineBros the shit out of any company, or youtube channel that rips you off. The recent court ruling for H3H3 vs Matt Hoss laid out the guidelines for this exact scenario pertaining to youtube videos. It's worth a look-up. I'm sorry you guys are getting scammed, and I'm sorry that you have to be on guard constantly for thievery of your intellectual property... but by being nice, you come off as a soft target. Nobody fucks with the fine bros because they sue the fuck out of everyone, I don't think you need to be that devious to ward off scavengers, but unfortunately, I hope you buff up on copyright law and flex your guns a little stronger. As for the T-Shirt copying, you can't really do much unless you track down the source, but if people upload your content with an italian accent and monetize the video, you can claim the monetization and report them for a copyright strike. I would recommend that over conversing with the creator, because that will have more permanent ramifications. :c
