@@Joshua_N-A Cagalli’s voice actor was protesting about the $h1t script and speaking up for Shinn’s VA, so she got frozen by Fukuda... both Cagalli and Shinn need justice

@Russell MC yes, Shinn was treated unfairly by the writers and Cagalli’s VA spoke about it, but Fukuda’s wife was having a serious illness and Fukuda don’t have the mood to think about the senses and the script became bad. Because he didn’t use enough brain cells to write Shinn’s character, so the audiences hated Shinn and Kira was later returned as the protagonist. It’s still sad that not many people known about this truth and just trash talking Shinn... it’s purely the directors and writers fault...

@Russell MC but we still have a lot of Shinn haters out there... I am not fanboying Shinn but he is pretty real and he could’ve have a better development, missed opportunity

Perhaps the weapons got better output, but the armor itself is full of weaknesses that is too easy to expose, once the enemy finds out you can’t defend physical attacks, they will switch to ballistic/physical attacks to kill you. So, between VPS and Yata no Kagami, I will choose VPS on my MS if I am the pilot who custom it.

@@zethythonix altho zeth I would argue that in space. The yata no kagami is much better since most if not all enemies use beam weapons anyway. Couple with the necessity of more power needed for the shiranui. I would think that the Akatsuki, being what it is, is more an elite suit. Mu is probably the ideal pilot for it with his expanded spatial awareness and being formerly a MA pilot much more comfortable at evading attacks (he doesnt need to now anyway).

Strike E is my favourite variant and Strike Rouge's Ootori pack is the best IWSP pack as it promotes both mobility and adequate weaponry.

Akatsuki is a bit questionable because Fukuda basically made it up, imagining designing a Striker that Cagalli can’t use, Cagalli don’t have high spatial awareness so why would Uzumi designed something his daughter can’t use?

For my favorite, I will choose Strike Noir, because it got tactical cool moves and the color scheme is so cool! I would love to use that color scheme on my future car one day XD For realistic choice, if I am a pilot, I will choose Lightning Strike Gundam, because no matter what game or what sports I am playing, I found myself to be better when I am a support character. So, based on that information, Lightning Striker will work the best for my style and skills as I can provide good support and long range sniping.
