H.L.M.S. - Strike Gundam & Dagger Line (Part 1) 

Strike was a legend, because almost all the coordinator soldier mistake the strike dagger for the real strike.

Strike is basically is what a Battletech player would call an omnimech. Its able to swap weapons pods to change its combat roles.

Dont get me wrong I love Gamore and the other Gundam MS archive youtubers, but the way you go through the MS development cycle is very interesting, as well as the side information you always include. Can't wait to see more!

The perfect strike also had weight issues which is another reason why it was only used once. In addition, after the battle of mendel, Mu lost the launcher pack which prevented him from using the perfect striker pack again.

Thank you for your hard work Zeth! This was an amazing H.L.M.S episode for one of my favourite Gundam of all time. Would love to see some of these suits/packs in Gunpla form, especially the Gunbarrel pack. I also learned pilots in SEED tend to miraculously survive.

Killing Nicol/Destroying blitz was strictly accidental in the anime- in novel, a different story as Nicol actually went to nearly destroy the ship; Kira went SEED mode and killed him with superhuman efficiency.

The Perfect Striker Pack may have had poor performance under gravity, but I'm sure it would've done better in space; too bad it was never shown.

Kira actually hated Aile Strike in the beginning. In his first space battle without the super power of Sword or Launcher he almost got captured by the enemy.

Hmmm pretty interesting video, mate. Honestly Seed series has too many MSV that sometimes you don't know what's what and from where anymore. I like the design of windam and honestly with the spec and how it look (with the V fin and color scheme) it can be a starting MS for a main character of Gundam lol. Great job mate

Is it wrong that the Strike is my favourite main Gundam? I mean, I backordered the MG of this thing and it wowed me over when I saw the first three episodes of SEED. That, and I'm a sucker for that early-to-mid 2000s style of being bulky and sleek at the same time.

In my school vr game there's a new striker pack made by galahorn called the ahbp ( anti hybrid beast pack ( or anti hyper beast pack ) it's a pack Pacificly used to fight 00 goalius in the mission called a titanic trap where you see the fight as the rainboom and it kicked goalius @$$ and even smashed goalius biohelm but things went to absolute shit when mobile armour Fenrir showed up and caused 00 goalius limiters to be deactivated and Fenrir was destroyed badly and both 00 goalius and strike gundam was absolutely demolished by eachother and there was some brutal highlights include goalius smashed the face of the strike the strike ripped off 00 goalius left mandible and slammed it into 00 goalius bionic eye and both fired off all of there weapons at each other point blank and both where demolished and the damage was strike ahbp was destroyed the head was missing the face no left hand and right leg plus the striker port was covered in dirt and clogged but 00 goalius had it worse he lost both eyes missing a mandible both gn drives blow up and his whole bottom half was disintegrated

I always wished there had been upgraded versions of the three main striker packs to give the Strike some more symmetrical armor. Full Launcher with two of the shoulder mounts, Double Sword with two blades and two arm attachments, and a Full Aile with some kind of red shoulder attachments plus two shields and two rifles. Though the last one would make the Strike look like something out of Thunderbolt.

Now this is brain juice. The info, the data, the results, the pros n cons it's all there n nearly identical as Kakarot 197 explanation. Further more, I like the Dagger unit line cuz it's a Grunt MS version of the Gundam n the Windam well l like to see a successor unit of it one day

It's possible that the Windham may have been issued to MS team leaders due to having the V-antenna on the forehead while the 105 Dagger was reserved for ace pilots due to the limited number produe and the other mass-produced MS were for the standard grunts... you might've already said so even as I'm typing this

I find the "2887" really funny for some reason.

I feel bad for the Wingdams they look awesome and i love their weapons and somehow they remind me of the Jegans. However, they always get blow out in the anime. If i was a character in the cosmic era my Mobile Suit would be a Wingdam equip with the noir striker pack and modified legs, back thrusters, a modified shield with a beam cannon along side the missiles a new beam rifle that looks similar to Gundam Kyrious GN machine gun. I would call it Wingdam NC (Noir, Custom). In addition i would desert the earth alliance with some engineers and mechanics to join Orb and blow some zakus warriors.

Strike hold on long as it can cause it face many harsh battle in the cosmic era. The Dagger line reminds me GMs because they use tactical attacks wheather in space or earth

I still feel sad that cagali never fought in her strike rouge in the entirety of Destiny.

The rifle and shield came with the aile striker pack so the rifle and shield were not standard primarily

Strike had an emergency cockpit shield that protected Kira from aegis self destruct

The armor schneider looks like a combat knife and a pocket knife in one

I know this not about Gundam SEED Destiny but I think it would be a disservice not to mention ZAFTs answer to the Strike, the ZGMF-X65S Impulse Gundam. As it is basically an upgraded version of the Strike.

This may be a long shot, but could you make one for the Impulse Gundam. It is my favorite of all the destiny suits.

I honestly think the strike and dagger line is the coolest one. but some of those weapon packages are so... well... cringe. The design of the MS is what's great to me, in the standard aile configuration mostly.

The only real problem with the dagger l units because of the shoulders they cannot Mount any of the striker packs that have shoulder-mounted equipment like the Gatling gun missile pod from the launcher the bean boomerang for the sword Striker so the only thing they could Mount where the backpack components or the forearm mounted electromagnetic cannon from the lightning Striker pack

Even though I dislike Seed and Seed Destiny as Gundam series, the mobile suits, specially the Strike, have great designs. Wasted at the anime, but at the games are always nice to have!

If there was a perfect dagger would it not have power issues since it doesn't have phase shift armor?

The w in schwert and gewehr is v in German language. Ootori is superior than IWSP imo as it doesn't give too much stress on the MS frame like it and Perfect Strike did and give multiple weapons in Aile like performance. Flay Allster was originally planned to be Rouge's pilot and EA's version of Strike before they change it to Cagalli and Orb. Too bad they did Windam dirty in GSD along with the GuAIZ R as both are analogous to each other. Wish GSD got better writer and director and Neo should've been somebody else. Looking forward for the Strike E, it's my favourite Strike variant. Oh and uh, the original GSD due to delays in script and schedule deadline that the animators had to abuse stock footage, one can see a Strike fighting the Freedom during Shinn vs Kira. Wish they got a competent production team just like the ones who made Stargazer. One more thing, it seems like the Gunbarrel Striker pack may have been inspired 0 Raiser's design in 00.

What About Strike Noir And Librarian's Strike?

Without the Aile Strike pack, it looks too plain by itself. Never understood why Bandai released it in the Universe series of figures without the pack. Same with the Target exclusive Strike Rouge.

IWSP- pain in the ass to use, even if you are a posthuman (newtype (high spatial awareness) and/or SEED factor user) or transhuman (coordinators, carbon human or bio cpu/extendeds). However, give shrike a NJC with a nuclear reactor and the battery problem issue is solved.

Strike is like Nokia. It survived an aegis blast and can be repaired to full performance. It blocked a freakin positron blast when normal beams would've shot through multiple ms. The basic model will become the mainstay of many other phones in its generation. (Striker packs, wizard packs, silhouette packs, akatsuki packs etc) Even after becoming outdated, it's still useful and a threat on the battlefield.

Windam performed so bad it made the strike dagger, 105 dagger and dagger L look good. Also it kinda annoyed me when people keep saying that the strike rouge was a re-painted strike gundam
