Yes!!! What a fantastic piece! It's nearly impossible to find fault. H. Moser & Cie is the favorite brand of several notable watch media personalities, and with good reason. Confident. Bold. Irreverent. Reverent. Classic. Contemporary. I challenge you to find another brand that can match all that.
@@Doggo-frencton which models at this price point have finely hand finished bevels/angles? my understanding is pretty much all watches in this price ballpark use a significant amount of machine finishing, Royal oaks, overseas, nautiluses, and calatravas included. An exception is entry level Lange, which is a very different watch altogether
I like that dark blue mirror-finish ring around the seconds. That same mirror finish is what I’d like to see GP do to the hobnails of the dial of the Laureatto. Each facet would reflect colored light. I think that would be cool!
@@Doggo-frencton no, the most disgusting part is people misrepresenting consumerism as a hobby. Particularly you, who comments on the price of every watch reviewed.
I love a lot of what Moser does, but I’ve come to accept that they don’t make a watch that ticks enough boxes for me. I need a date complication, and I would love to get one of their perpetual calendars, but I would want it to be an automatic. Also, I think their logo is beautiful and I don’t like their “naked” dials.
Look at the Pioneer Perpetual MD. It isn't an automatic but it has their logo and has the date. Older Endeavour Perpetual Calendar models also have the logo, but alas also are not automatics.
Fantastic watches, horrible company. It's well known that certain people were actively seeking bungs to bump people up the list. There is a lot more but you can get it elsewhere. I love that watch though :) The Collective Pioneer with the rotating 12 hour bezel is one of my all time favourites.
Compared bracelets visually yesterday, and I love it when a bracelet rocks multiple polishing styles, not just one and 1% like here. I'd build on top of these unique (but still, allow me to say, dummy) designs.
