I listened with great interest to the panel discussion on the current political situation in Ethiopia. It touches on the political crisis in Tigray and the IMF loan, among other things, but describes how hopeless a situation Ethiopia is in under PM Abiy Ahmed's rule. I strongly recommend it
As a fellow co religionists Faisal knows that you should never negotiate with a” Murtad” . Those who do negotiate would find that he goes into the agreement knowing full well he isn’t going to honour it . Even the World Bank or the IMF.
Faisal could be right I don’t think the country can survive structural adjustments or more to the point if Abiy is going to survive the structural adjustments.
