this episode especially really shows that out of all the family members, kitten is the most level headed of them all. Even D is lost in his rivalry with Remold, with kitten being the only once aside from Occam being the only one who's actually focused on revealing the ghoul's identity

Been going trought the OST slowly over the last few days. I've been coming back to this specific one a bit. The specific scene for it felt very... ''real'' for lack of a better word. Music contributed a lot to that feel. The more I listen to your music, the more I appreciate how you can set a mood. This one being a great example, it just works well. Thank you.

IMO the track definitely works for the scene it's in - while the staff is... somewhat irritated, it still is a moment for Kitten to take a breath from the investigation, disastrous reunion with his ex and his father-in-law's feud

Knowing a few people with short tempers, I'd say this fits a character like Matilda fairly well actually! Regardless of the theories of Matilda being a secret hostile werewolf...imagine for a second you have a short fuse. What do you do to mitigate it and not explode on people? Short term vocal venting, making it clear you need your personal space, surrounding yourself with the people whose company you actually enjoy, and some privacy. Short fuses don't WANT to be angry, being calm is immensely preferable. lol So that's why she seeks a calm environment away from those who in her eyes are snooty or outright insane. Brok also has a short fuse, but is aggressive and looking for trouble, whereas Matilda just wants a paycheque and would much rather keep to herself. Same vein, the people I know with anger issues, when they have it under control, or rather, when their lives are in comfortable spots, these same people can be either sweethearts or totally chill dudes. Watching the episode, she's only really angry when ordered around or insulted by Blacklaw and co. So if Matilda is truly just an underpaid cleaning worker, a calm piano track like this being her theme to match up with Amanda makes perfect sense. Something to soothe the nerves during a stressful work day. ...And if she IS a secret werewolf, then obviously there'd be a seperate and much more hardcore and 'HOLY CRAP' theme just for the occasion rather than this, as I doubt the D Family would be fighting for their lives to the tune of calm tempo lounge music. :P Nice work!
