i remember advanced warfare also had a playlist where there was no exo-suit, so all these maps were designed with the possibility of no exo-suit in mind. maps transfer nicely to h2m

I think most people didn't know about or forgot about the non-exo suit playlists in AW. People didn't like the exo movement and didn't play the game, when they could have played it the whole time. I remember playing that mode a little bit when the game first came out to get used to the game first. I know IW also had a non-advanced movement playlist too. I'm not sure about BO3, but it probably did too.
@executionstyled9473 bo3 did not. I played aw from release until well into the next game's cycle and cannot recall ever seeing a mode without exos. I only remember the playlist for iw that took the movement out.
Gaming in general was just so much better back then. This mod does a pretty good job at that. All it needs is open chat in lobbies with 13 year olds screaming profanities in your ear to be really authentic LOL
Not just Team Fortress, most of Valve's titles came from mods of Half Life 1 and 2. Portal, Counter Strike, DOTA, Day of Defeat, they were all mods for HL before getting bought by Valve along its developers, Activision is losing a gold mine by banning people like these.
They’d lose money rereleasing old CODs. Now more than ever they want you on the newest game, buying their corny overpriced bundles and the bi-monthly $30 BlackCell battle pass. Either the seasonal live service model would have to die or they could completely forgo releasing a new COD and bastardize a classic with bundles and a battle pass.
I smell they gonna make this SM2 with all the maps and maybe weapons collected on dedicated servers for SM2 modes whilst keeping the pure MW2R modes too. I mean that's just what COD Online did, one game engine and port over all the maps/weapons.
Yknow at first I was hoping this would be mostly just MW2 remastered But I loved AW and Solar was like my favorite map, seeing this I’m convinced, would love to see more stuff like that added
as far as im aware mwr is basically the same engine as advanced warfare , so there wasnt much porting todo , porting maps from different engine cods is a different thing
BO2 would be one of the harder ones to do, the AW maps play good on this cause they use to have a playlist called "old school" on AW and it was without exo movement , i use to only run SnD on AW without exo and went for leaderboards cause it was trash SPM leaderboards it was actual stats
They could do Black Ops 2 maps, but the reason AW maps came so fast is because MWR has the same AW engine. Otherwise they would of probably did MW3 and Ghost Maps.
Same engine yeah but actually the reason it came out fast was because these maps was already available months ago for h1-mod for MWR so because this is based off that the same map files work with H2M. Despite the same engine it still took a while for them to be ported on h1-mod as I've seen the early images in a discord server when it had bad graphics before it was all fixed up eventually. It has led me to the discovery of a map porting tool that they use for doing it I'm currently trying to use the tool to port mw3 maps slowly getting past errors with the map compiling just need to get all the missing files dumped. In the discord server for h1-mod they shared pictures of dome and hardhat etc on MWR but they haven't publicly posted the map files they just keep it personally for themselves and the most recent dome pics looks good. It's harder to get BO2 maps to work that's not possible with the current tools to go directly from BO2 to MWR unless u manage to port BO2 maps to a supported cod or make a custom map for cod 4 and then port it that way. There is some partial ghosts support but from what I've seen it has graphics issues that the dev of the tool couldn't fix yet.
AW is underrated. I enjoyed all the jet pack games.. infinite warfare was actually my favorite (guns felt better than both AW and BO3).. I comes from the original MW2 era
bo1 and bo2 are not possible to port to the h1engine. Cod4, WaW, og mw2, og mw3, AW, CoD online maps are all possible, and I know any treyarch game after WaW cant be ported. But some bo1 and bo2 maps are actually in CoD online which can be ported. Thats how raid was playable in iw4x and pluto
Wat about guns? From black ops I would think not cuz then they would have to make it pick 10 and the mw guns wouldn’t work. Maybe msmc with 2 attachment only idk
Shoutout zonetool. Black ops maps would need to be remade inside cod4 radiant then ported over to h1/h2m. Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to port bo1/2/3 maps over they would have to be remade

when ever my h2m starts joining the wrong servers i just put a new favorite.json file in users2 and it fixes it. also the number on the very right side of the player count is the max players that can join and if its say 12 18 12 server will allow up to 12 people not white listed on the server and hold up to 18 with witelisted people. its stupid
cod aw was such a overhated cod like the maps and guns were so good IMO everyone hated the exos me personally I liked them I think if u hated them it was a skill issue I loved them was top 200 on the gungame leaderboards for like 3 months my kd was like 7 something on gun game and in normal 5something was my second fav cod behind bo2
They can implement anything they want, its the same base engine. Especially cause AW was before mwr so the engine for mw is missing no code to support everything that was in AW
ben playing since black ops 1 every since then ben playing every call of duty except mw3 2023. I was willing to give black ops 6 a shot because it's black ops 6, but seeing how Activision slap H2M just because they're were scared of H2M Affecting they're player counts instead of taken note on what OG call of duty players truly want. No, I'm not playing black ops 6 and I think a lot of people would agree with me.
Not really..as far as jumping on top of buildings yeah but when u look at the actual layout of the maps they would play fine...with the exception of the prison map i would agree now that one you definitely need the suit
Is H2M safe in the sense of actually playing? Do I have to be worried about hackers within the game rooting into my PC? (Not talking about downloading ratted files for the install but the game itself once you get it set up) Thanks bro
on the topic of how hard it is to port these maps, actually not that hard at all, for IW and SHG games its pretty easy to port maps from the 2 games from any games up to MW2019 where the engine was massively changed, treyarch always had their own engine pretty different from IW and SHG so porting any treyarch COD maps is much harder (its why you see little IW maps in plutonium and little treyarch maps in IW4X or H1)

add the internet server list to favourites because th internet server list is bugged and it connects you at different servers than the ones you actually choose
Any cod modders that make a playable client must never sell or teamup with Activision. If they were to sign a deal with activision to sell the game to them they will immediately shelve it to never be seen again.
@Zagruez I mean it is. Not released in any official capacity, but the GSC file is out there. Been using it on a private server with my buddy for a couple days now. It's not perfect and we still don't have sliding. But it's fun to mess around with and makes finding cool trickshot spots easier.
I don’t remember what game it was but profit the owner of profit servers was screen sharing a call of duty I think either ghosts or mwr but they ported in the AW maps WITH exo movement
The private server bs is the reason I already stopped playing. Apparently EVERY SINGLE SERVER is private. That or full even though is says 13 out of 18 people. That and the server browser will literally just put you in any server and ignore the one you actually picked because it's dog shit.
Your not going too😂 there’s confirmed files that are safe and you can even scan them yourself if you won’t take my word for it. It’s better to do your own research before blindly listening to things you read on the internet.
