I was thinking about the fact that you are so powerful you can simply ask for snacks from all over the world and people send them. You did this by making a game about shooting 6 foot tall hotdogs. What a world we live in.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas (and Meatmas). Unfortunately, my Christmas will be missing an important person in my life: my father. This morning, he passed away after a nearly-5 year cancer battle. But he is no longer in any pain, and he has been reunited with my mother. And he was a fighter, even until the end (being retired Air Force, it makes sense). As I said earlier: Life's too short. No matter what your family is like, spend as much time with them as you can. Cherish every moment, and say what you want to say to them; because there may be a time when you want to tell them, but they're not around anymore.
My deepest condolences to you, truly. I know precisely how that particular loss feels. I hope you have some some other family/friends to spend the holiday with to support one another.

I may have teared up just a wee bit when you had that first "aww" at the card from australia Sadly, my VR headset has taken a massive backseat due to the various games coming out, but I never miss a devlog and it's always so heartwarming to see you do things like this, I'm so excited to see what Meatmas brings us!

The best thing to do with Tim Tams is a Tim Tam slam, acquire coffee, hot chocolate, or other suitable hot beverage, bite the opposite corners off a Tim Tam, then use it as a straw to suck up your hot beverage of choice before enjoying the hot chewy goodness.

Thank you for the laugh Anton haha. "Nakkipete" is finnish and means "wienerpete" roughly translated but the word sounds funnier in finnish. "Wieneypete" might be english equivalent to this!
As an Aussie, I can tell you that Star Yoshi pretty much knocked it out of the park there. All those are pretty classic Aussie snacks. I hope they gave you these instructions in the card, but in case not: The Tim Tams, if you have any left by now and you have a favourite hot tea/coffee/chocolate/other beverage, need to be tried with the Tim Tam Slam method. Basically, you bite two opposite corners off then suck the drink through the Tim Tam like a straw. Then you eat the Tim Tam IMMEDIATELY before it disintegrates in your fingers. The goal is for it to disintegrate in your mouth. This may take practice, and some people bite the whole ends off, but that compromises structural integrity which can lead to the immensely disappointing oops-all-air suck, which sucks. The Turkish delight isn't really Turkish delight, it's like an approximation of it that's just a gelatinous goop coated in chocolate. It's tasty, but be aware there is also the thing it's named after, and if you ever get a chance you should try it. It's very different, smooth, soft, and just melts in your mouth. Chicken salt should be enjoyed liberally. It's not as salty as regular salt, so it needs a decent coating. Nothing better than grabbing hot chips - thick fries you'd probably call them - from a chicken shop and seeing them just smash that shaker all over the top.
I would have also taken part in this competition if I didn't know very well that there was little to no chance for me to receive the prize here in Germany (customs and stuff). But anyway, my entry would have been Cass E. Criner (Käsekrainer is an Austrian/Slovenian sausage with chunks of cheese inside). Anyway, I can't wait for the Meatmas Update (though I have little hope that there will be more black powder weapons in this)! And most importantly, I hope you find some time to relax after pushing that update! No one deserves it more than you, Anton!

It never struck me that honey soy chicken was a chip flavour that might not be in other parts of the world. I pity the people who've never tried them or chicken salted hot chips. I've had all those Aussie snacks you got and personally like them I'm curious what you thought of the non wagon wheel snacks if you've had time to taste them?
hey can someone remind me around midnight on christmas to start the update download? my internet is capped to like less than 1mb/s and a 15gb update takes around 13 hours to download (yes i timed it.) thanks in advance
