I wanted to give you an idea for something to add into the game since I feel it's category is a bit empty and the current items filling it are a bit hard to reload for me. Could you possibly consider putting the Carl Gustaf Recoilless rifle to the to do list? It would be nice to have a more modern launcher that isn't the RPG-7, that isn't lock on only like the Stinger. It would also be a bit easier to reload then the Bazooka or the Panzerschreck, while also being a nice alternative to the RPG-7, while being even more effective then it. The Gustav also has multiple variants, can take a variety of attachments (including a bipod) and multiple ammo types, as well as having a rich history and over all fascinating design!
Just got a VIVE pro for Christmas and you know i got H3VR before i even finished setting it up. I played Take and Hold until i was sweating and the controllers died. Its everything ive hoped it would be. Thank you so much for the time and love youve put into this monstrosity.

The fact that you have consistently provided meaningful updates to this game has taken it to a whole different level. I wish more game developers did the same thing you are doing with h3vr. The game is amazing and it is always getting better. I was wondering if you were considering adding a peq15 style laser to the game.
Anton, maybe for next major update, you can add a rangefinder, so people can determine distance. Like the Arma 3 rangefinder. PS, I have no VR set, so I don't know if you did this yet

You know what would be sooooooo cool for update 100? A weapon that shoots hot dogs, another one that shoots horseshoes, and another one that shoots hand grenades!
I got into the game not knowing about this and I haven't been this impressed in a while, it's amazing how you as a game developer take time to do this.
Anton, I freakin love you man. My girlfriend and I love H3 and we watch the updates together. This has to be officially the most guns in any game by now. Have you considered opening your engine up to he community for some linear single player campaigns? I'd love something else I could buy that would send some revenue your way. It seems like such a waste that you keep putting so much work into the base dev stuff, every military style VR game should be built on your framework and you should be pulling in millions.
Anton does this out of love for his art so he wouldn't sell out his platform to others like that. If you do want to contribute more to him, there's always merch in the RUST store. My H3 shirt costed about twice as much as the game itself and it was worth it.
@@racer927 It's all well and good to be dedicated to artistic creation but this game has the most lopsided development resource allocation of any endeavor, ever. It's like if Henry Ford built the worlds largest factory to roll out a concept car every year and instead of ever going into actual production he just kept making the factory forever bigger. You could take this collection of assets and build a WWII game down to individual battles where obscure weapon variants were tested. Cold war scenarios, fantasy sci-fi and alternate reality scenarios. The physics are so ultra refined and so many weapons modeled you could build the best medieval battlefield simulation in VR. H3 should be the technical groundwork for the next decade worth of VR storytelling, and Anton should be sleeping on a giant pile of money, flirting with the notion of buying up Bethesda or Valve.
Thank you Anton, for thinking of those of us who still don't have a vr system but still would love to play your awesome game! The second I can get my hands on a vr set, I'm getting H3! Hey Anton, thoughts on the Stryer AUG A1? There is a modification for the A3 we currently have that allows for mounting the swaroski scope. It'd be fun to see alternative barrels for it too since it has easily replaceable barrels. I thought it could work like the MP5 that has replaceable foregrips. That was an excellent idea for a sub-system.
Same... It's still the best because it haves the silliness of sosigs and weird unexisting weapons, yet realism and probably hours of entretainment. A wonderful, good worked game may I say

I am so glad we have a developer like Anton. H3vr is by far one of the most endlessly entertaining games i have ever played on any platform. All this new content being added regularly for FREE is amazing in the modern day of microtransactions. So with that, thank you Anton, now i must go play some more h3vr!
Got an idea for the mag storage: Perhaps code it like the shell rack on the spas-12 but set to only hold a single magazine, rather than individual rounds. That could be a whole update working to add rail mounted shell racks for the various shotguns, plus maybe some leather rifle stock slips for loose rifle cartridges. Also with all these new single shot weapons like the muzzle loader and the martini perhaps it's time we had a quick belt loadout with tons of single cartridge slots like an old west pistol belt or a cross the chest chandelier.
13:48 I've been messing around A LOT with the new Scout. My new favorite bolt gun in the game. I slapped a 1-24x scope in the forward position like it's supposed to be and practiced a ton in Cappocoliseum, hopping around popping wiener domes.
Super dev Anton! first of all, merry meatmas!!! And thank you for all the effort you put in to keep us happy and entertained, you've earned your place in gamedev history man, for real! ... That said, I've been wanting to ask you about the FOV, it's impossible to capture the real experience of H3VR and share it... the best I can do is aim with my left eye, however, everything seems zoomed in... I've tryed many approaches and none of them work. It would be awesome to have something like Blade n Sorcery where, pressing F5 you get to select the mode of the camera in the computer that you are capturing your gameplay, basically a pretty way to set the FOV. Is it possible to see something like that in the near future? TIA
Thanks for the tip, I wasn't sure if the rifle snapping open was me or my Rift. I have a similar issue with shotguns where the pump snaps open and closed when I fire unless I re-grab and/or hold my off-hand further forward. I was so giddy to see the Steyr Scout and China Lake. (Funnily, enough, that makes it a bigger "shotgun" than the KS-23 if you load the buckshot shells). The All-Rounder ammo is a neat idea as an all-class primary/secondary with flechette for Scout, Soldier, Demo, Heavy, Engi, and Medic, Inferno for Pyro and FMJ for Spy and Sniper. Okay, Anton... GET SOME REST.
You know. I've always assumed anton liked hotdogs, because well, they're a huge focus of the game. But then I realized, he might hate them because you're constantly blowing up, shooting, stabbing, ripping apart, and generally destroying hot dogs.

dude the love for your game that you always show is inspiring, it is one of if not the best VR game available , i have soooo much fun playing this with my buddys when they call round, theyre always amazed at the detail of the weapons and sounds. one thing though, could you please make a variant of the lee enfield sniper rifle, its like the best gun in the world (IMO :P) but yeah hope you had a nice christmas/holidays!
Hey anton, thanks for this. Opening the presents was an awesome experience I forgot where to report the bugs but I encountered one when I accidentally loaded a second round into the henry and the entire game crashed
Post a bug report in the bug report section of the Steam community and *only* there so Anton can keep track. Also, try to replicate it consistently if you can.
I absolutely loved the meatmas gift! My favorite is the Martini! Thank you for the awesome gameplay so far. I hope you all have an awesome meatmas! Stay hydrated! P.s. i saw a tiny bug with the scout. The trigger seems to go through the trigger guard.
An epic graphical update would be parallax mapping wherever the bullets would hit. That would also make some rounds feel more powerful than they previously would.
A fun idea I think you should look into is from Fallout New Vegas is the 25mm grenade APW (anti-personnel weapon) it is a semi-automatic grenade rifle that fires from either a 6 shot box mag or an 8 shot drum mag and also has a long barrel attachment (and if your not interested in that look into timed 40mm grenades if you don't already have them)
Hey Anton, merry meatmas. I may not have a headset to enjoy this but I love gameplay and your devblogs. I just had a wonderful idea! I’m an apprentice gunsmith and would love if you had like a disassembly mode for your firearms for us to tinker with. It would make working on some obscure or rare firearms so much easier! Just an idea. And again, merry meatmas to you and your family 😁
That would add needless complexity to this game by having so many individual models merged into single item. There's always World of Guns: Gun Disassembly.
TF2 actually has an all-rounder rifle. It's simply modified to fire single shots and the magazine is entirely cosmetic. I really want the Classic to be better. Using it in H3VR (as the G36) brings me a lot of joy.

I don’t know if this has been added, but can you add an attachment for sights so that you can put two on top but when you want to change sights you yank a sight to the side so you can use the other one.
That battle rifle is fucking awesome! I want it in base TF2, playing lots of Halo Reach on PC latelly, The way I'd see it work ingame would be, shotgun replacement, give it spread like the embassader, make it fire more accuratelly when you're standing still and recenter faster when crouching, making it behave a bit like a Counter Strike weapon, or more accuratelly, just like how Halo's DMR works, make it semi auto, able to shoot fast for absolutly zero percent accuracy and total scaryness, powerfull, recenter at a decent speed, a bit slower than the shotgun's fire rate, just a bit, and slow to reload.
While all of these gifts are amazing that Martini Henry really is the highlight in my opinion. Love that gun and I'm so glad you added it to the game. Thanks Anton.
Merry Meatmas anton! Don't have VR yet but I've been watching since the graviton beam was introduced. The China lake looks great! With it and the Hecate II, are you planning on adding more fallout new vegas weapons? The 25mm APW would be great. Also take a look at the chinese man portable AGL that was in Far Cry 4. That gets me thinking too, like how the M134 is "Man Portable" in H3, you think the Mk19 and even funnier the Mk18 AGLs could be added? Good lord this is looking like a letter to santa at this point.
Nice idea for a Team Fortress 2 weapon! I think if this were to get added to the game, it’d probably be restricted from Medic and Spy, as it doesn’t fit those classes, but it’s still amazing!
