lol I used this for it’s original purpose, modding Risk of Rain 2, (that’s why it’s called thunderstore) cool that they made it work for a bunch of other unity games. Btw if you have any locally installed mods you’re gonna want to disable those first

man it feels so good to play this game again i havent played this game since April cause my computer was all fucked and i had to rest my whole computer its nice that they made modding so much easier and faster

Already have 100 hours on vanilla H3VR because I thought modding it would be long and complicated but now that I know how simple it is I feel like Im gonna be logging a disgusting amount of hours in the next coming weeks thanks to this video 😁👍

Hey this was pretty useful. It may become outdated in a year and it's rare I get on the relevancy train here on the internet but it came at the perfect time that I watched your Hotel Hotlink video and said hell yeah climbing has totally been missing from the default map. So thanks, good on you if you try to make more helpful videos for new folks. (BTW, you taught me about spawn lock, I'm pretty sure the Sampler Platter scene never mentions it and I was real confused for awhile on why Anton always had ammo.)

When I try to start modded, it says "Error Starting Steam", and it suggests "Ensure that the Steam directory has been set correctly in the settings", even tho I selected the correct steam folder. Any fixes?

i didnt know h3 could run mods and this video helped.it was a bit confusing cause theres no r2 modman now its called overwolf.thank god it finds the directories by itself. i just double checked that it looked like the ones on your vid .looks all good im about to crank the ole gal up and see if it works thanks.(update idk why it downloaded overwolf r2modman is on the front page on the website,it looks just like it idk)

the fact i done this in vr is meta af.

so totally out of the blue my mods wouldn't load, fixed it by doing a complete reinstall of both game and r2modman, now they load but I cant put magazines inside anything mag fed, and the launcher has multiple errors saying magwell trigger couldn't load

How do you load custom maps in game? On R2MM I downloaded shooty house with all its dependices but I can’t find how to load it in game. If you could help it would be greatly appreciated

Hey, I apologize if I missed something, but I use the R2 mod manager and tried installing maps, weapons, and TNH characters, but nothing shows up or works. It as far as I can tell did install everything and dependencies, but I cant figure out why it isnt working

Thank you for this video! I tried installing some maps but they just don’t seem to appear in my modded scenes thing. I thought it might’ve been because I was in the take and hold alpha beta on steam but even after changing that the maps didn’t appear. I’ve only installed maps so far because that’s all I’m really interesting in rn but I’ll try and see if other mods will load in just not sure why the maps aren’t working thus far.

Why do i hear pillager raid on the background?

Im having a problem. I cant download any mod because all the time i try it just says "connection terminated. Cannot establish a secure conection for the ssl/tls secure channel" and when i try to download manualy, the thunderstore website doesnt work

Hey I need some help, H3VR runs perfectly fine vanilla, but when I play it modded it can barely run it and lags every second if I merely breathe. I have 16gb of ram and a GTX 1060 3gb model. My headset is an oculus quest 2 using a link cable.

Most of the maps I download and setup arent loading in for TNH even when I have them selected in the menu. Are the maps broken or something? Im confused

What do i do if i want to install AMD FSR externally from github (i do this because if i don't i have low fps making it so that my guns fire slower). Do i install fsr normally and then still press launch modded or what?

do we have to open it from R2Modman or can we open it from the default apps such as SteamVR or Oculus

Hello i need some help. So when i start h3vr up with mods and vanilla through r2modman once it loads up it shows with the vive controllers or something and i cant do anything with my hands. Im on quest 2

it just says There should be ‘h3vr_data’ folder next to the executable

May not be directly related, but how do you pin your obs window to your wrist like that??? I been searching for days and I cant find any info at all on it.

This is awesome and I've got quite a few mods added now. My issue is with custom characters and take and hold maps. The custom characters don't even show up in the list, and while I can scroll over to the custom maps, the pedestal doesn't have the hotdog so I can't actually load the level. How do you use the custom characters and maps?

Custom maps appear on my TNH level selection just fine, but when I start the level, the game just starts classic hallway. Other mods work fine. Does somebody have any Idea what I'm doing wrong?

For some reason my H3VR directory doesn't exist until I browse local files via steam

This won't work for me I've done every thing the tutorial said and the only Problem I can think of is that I play on the quest2

I already download several gigabytes of mods without checking the r2mod manager thinking that was the app that had built in advertisements, not thunderstore/overwolf. Is there a way to get r2mm to validate these zip files without having it redownloading all mods? Do I just throw them all into a folder somewhere?

Having a weird issue with Quest 2. With either vanilla or just BIP enabled, everything works fine. However, if I enable Stratum, my controllers refuse to work, and two blue dots show at spawn, presumably indicating Vive Controllers. Any ideas? Is this common?

Is it asking too much to run all the modul- mods at once? (Ar, Ak, Fal, pistol, shotgun.) Add an announcer and sosig voices and I get frequent 204 steamvr errors. I seem to struggle as it is with just shotgun, ak, and ar.

Hey Jedi, I followed this tutorial all the way though but I can’t seem to get them to work, like I start h3 with the mods but it comes up with BeplnEx commands also when I start h3 I have to do so though the oculus link so I can’t start the game through r2modman

i use a quest 2 and virtual desktop to play wirelessly and cant seem to get the modded to display on the headset, it loads vanilla fine and runs in the desktop but wont display

i have h3 and i’m kinda iffy ab modding bc is it really safe to use?
