A change of plan at the weekend meant an impromptu winter hike to the summit of Ha Ling which overlooks the mountain town of Canmore in Alberta, Canada.
Officially renamed in 1991 and standing at around 8,000 ft., the hike to the summit is rated as hard, even during the Summer months - in Winter, it's an even bigger challenge!
If you're an armchair hiker, somebody who's climbed Ha Ling a hundred times, or you're visiting the area and are wondering about where to hike in the mountains of Alberta, then this video may be for you.
I hope you'll join me on this hike, and enjoy the views and the experience just as much as I did :)
