The variants are a FEAST for the imagination! Fantastic work with these projects, I just found this episode and I'm excited to see what else you've made
There's so many nice touches in here, but I especially liked the ladder recessed into the wall, the wooden scaffolds and the pipes full of other pipes.
Not a big commenter on RU-vid but I love this tutorial man, Ive been getting into Necromunda and Scratch building for the last year and this has now become my inspiration for a new 9 tile setup. Have recently invested in a hot foam cutter (A Proxxon) so I cannot wait to get cracking. Thanks for such a well put together video and some awesome results!
What an absolutely impressive multi functional piece of terrain!!! I really like the piping that runs through the hab blocks, I’m sure that makes for some interesting tactical decisions when playing games. I’ll definitely be checking back in on your channel to see if inspiration finally comes through to me to actually start building with my ever increasing pile of construction debris and actually build a miniature building instead of actual human sized buildings lol
I probably have a 4 foot high pile of xps insulation foam at this point!! Plus numerous pieces of pipes, wires, conduit lines and other materials that are perfect to build my own hab block of the underhive.
Hello, do you have time to hear about our lord and saviour: OSHA violations? ^.^ Joking aside though, this is a beautiful peice. I tend to forget that metal sheets can be and are often painted primary colours, I frequantly have bare metalic steel coated in rust and grime. Thank you for reminding me to add a little colour to my grimdark.
Color me impressed. The terrain piece is great and I would love to see more. For such a new channel the production is pretty good. Please keep it up. Start looking for sponsors so you can afford to put more time into it.
Sometimes a simple "like" doesn't seem enough - that is a very nice set of terrain that gives the feel of modern brutalist architecture and favela at the same time. Thanks for making the video. I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers - you gave a very clear and concise account of how you built it, and the finished pieces worked well together and on their own.
I love it, I hope you and your friends have hours of fun with your gangs fighting over this bit of the underhive. I think having some 3d printed lights with some osl effects by some of the doors could have been a nice touch.
thank you. we sure will. it actually has a bunch of lights but i didnt want to paint osl on it. firstly i think i dont really believe in my osl techniques and secondly im afraid of the minis loosing significance if i paint too many details on the terrain
Great work on this video and all the preparation and hard work it must have been to make it so "simple" and direct, easy to understand and kinda encouraring for even amateurs❤❤❤
Honestly, It looked so good with all the colors. Having individually colored sections really adds to the atmosphere if the terrain. Like sectioned off gang territories.
@@precioushobbytime definitely, it's one of the best avenues for really flexing the creativity. So cool, the worlds we can create with basically just trash. I love this hobby so much, and I'm glad to see your content join the party. Looking forward to more!
cool block, I table would need about 6 of them if I'm correct. Totally doable. But while probably more expensive, wood blocks would made instead of foam block would made for a more durable table. Playing and transporting those terrain pieces is a harsh process they always bump
i played a testgame with only these three tiles plus around 4 inches of space around them. we had a perfectly fine match lengthwise. so id argue you can take as many of them as you want. the interconnected climbing space definitly makes up for the lesser horizontal space. yeah transportation of foam terrain is always a bit of a hassle. wood would also make it a lot heavier tho. but definitly worth a shot
Beautiful this is some of the best Necromunda terrain i've ever seen love the paint job really like the ruined cityscape you chose keep up the good work👍
Daaaaamn, this is some great piece! I've been thinking about doing a killteam/necromunda terrain that van be modular and remixed in multiple configurations, and then this video popped out. You deserve all the praise and much more views and subs. Keep it up man!
Very nice! I'm about to do something similar. I plan to build modular terrain for three general themes: Ash Wastes, underhive sumps and a general underhive version grounded on concrete.
A staggering work!! I was surprised to see so many saturated base colors, but you really toned them down, and it suggests present day real-Earth shanty towns! I especially dig the featured modularity; I wish I could store something so big. Can’t wait to see battle reports in there!
wow dude this is so cool, so many details and storytelling in those buildings. And all of the variations of blocks are look very intresting and fun. I'm new to necromunda and wargaming in general, so crafts like this really inspire me to do something myself
very nice. always a pleasure to inspire. a tip for beginners: dont be afraid - just start. take a small project to start with and learn new techniques continuously. maybe start with a shipping container out of corrugated cardboard. or a concrete wall from xps foam. theres tons of stuff to be found on youtube
