HabanoCon is DEAD, Cigartopia is FOREVER!

After the overwhelming success of HabanoCon, I got right to work planning the next Mega Herf for Cigars Daily Nation! The goal is to create an enviroment where members of the Cigars Daily Nation can experience all of the best parts of their passion for cigars together. The only problem is, I couldn't stand the name HabanoCon. The goal has always been to create an event that represents the Cigars Daily Nation, and all the things we love.
That's why I've landed on Cigartopia as the direction for the next big event. Now I need your help. If you watch Cigars Daily LIVE, then you know Cigartopia as the fictitious island that sits right off the West coast of Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua (and is definitely NOT the same shape as Lithuania). In order to create Cigartopia as a real place, it needs a little more personality. So I'm asking you to comment with your opinion on two questions. First, what should Cigartopia's national motto be? Secondly, what things should be on the Cigartopia flag? Drop your comments below, and pack your bags for Cigartopia!

Coat of arms idea: A cigar standing upright, entwined with two strands: one of smoke, and one of fire. Beneath it, possibly a ribbon with the moto.

How about a seal displaying the life cycle of a cigar from leaf to final cigar firm? Location of island country.. Caribbean for sure. Colors of flag.. somehow incorporate vibrant colors unique to the Caribbean or waters you place the country. Just thinking...

For the flag, have it bifurcated, the top half yellow representing the sun, the bottom green representing the soil. Use tobacco leaves arraigned in a laurel pattern in the center. Above the laurel have a crown signifying the royal lineage and heritage cigars come from. The the center of the laurel, you have a crossed bundle of cigars bound together with the chaveta within but the blade protruding. This signifies the bond all cigars smokers have and the unity of the smoker, maker, blender, and farmer. The blade protruding also harkens to the military heritage that many cigar aficionados have and the cigars carried by warriors from all militaries throughout the ages.

History of Cigartopia: Long ago Cigartopia was a land mass that had connected all the major tobacco growing regions. Cigartopia mysteriously disappeared long ago, and like a “Phoenix” reappeared in AZ to provide premier cigars to all the land. Suggest leveraging the cool Cigars Daily logo on the flag and put some tabacco leafs as part of the background. Maybe leverage the colors in your striped leaf color flag, each leaf overlaps and uses one of those colors.

You gotta have a cutter and lighter underneath 2 crossed , lit cigars with plumes of smoke creating a circle. The whole logo should be appear over a tobacco plant with roots reaching down. The background should be brownish on the bottom to represent the soil and a blazing sun rising in the background!

Wow, that looks like a rainbow flag, but for cigars. How forward thinking! Personally, I am not a big fan of text on flags. That should go around the cigartopia official seal. Design the flag on a space no bigger than 3 inches, if it looks good at that size, it will look awesome at full size

Cigartopia is cool but it doesn’t quite roll off the tongue, maybe Charutopia? Also the flag should definitely have a tobacco leaf(culture)for sure, maybe a chaveta(craft)and leaf over lapping like a Mason symbol. Maybe one more thing like hands shaking(community). “Culture.Craft.Community.” Or something like that…

Love watching you Tim, your entertaining and always fresh and knowledgeable, and not scared to give an honest opinion of a cigar! So I'll do the same! The multi colored flag is a NO GO INSTANTLY REMINDED ME OF A GAY PRIDE FLAG! Not that I have much of anything against gays or tyrannies I just have had enough of those type of weirdos being or having that sh!t shoved down my fave for the last two years!
