Got the Rouge Prive at Roma airport as soon as I saw it ! Now I’m sitting with 4 backup bottles since I hear it’s a limited edition! Love this stuff 💯 amazing citrus , leather , vanilla combo . Looks like Guerlain is finally back on track with this one for sure !

I totally agree with you, I tested rouge prive a few days ago, it was a wonderful surprise, I think it will be my next purchase.

Very interesting comparison. I certainly have noticed that modern iterations of most fragrances tend to go lighter on the florals. Fortunately, I'm on my way to smell Prive this afternoon. But I have smelled the re-bottled edp and it's pretty much the same as the red-capped listerine version. In all honesty, I slightly prefer the older, metal-capped listerine edp, but the differences are generally minor. Except for that exceptional leather accord.👌🤤

Just bought a bottle on Guerlain's website. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I sampled this new one and then bought it. I get quite a bit of rose from it, with a smooth leather. I don’t regret it one bit. I’ll be purchasing a backup bottle next.

Tons of credit trying to describe your experience with these two. It's so tough to describe a smell. I have the EDT and the EDP. To my memory the EDT is just a closer wearing but a bit thicker smelling and a bit longer lasting. I LOVE this DNA so I'm probably going to check out the prive.

Nicely done. I think I still prefer the EDT. To my nose Rouge Prive has a greener facet in its floral accord. Rose absolute smells quite green and stem-like, so that may be where it’s coming from. I agree that Rouge Prive is a nice “modern” interpretation of Habit Rouge. But I’ll always cherish my listerine bottle EDT ❤

I have a bottle of the Privé as well and was thinking of getting a backup bottle. Delphine Jelk has done a good job with this.

The drydown of Rouge Privee is very similar to the vintage (90s) bottle of habit rouge! More leather in the drydown!!!

Rouge Privé is amazing, reminds me of Sex and the Sea Neroli by Francesca Bianchi, that leather+neroli combo gives me this sensation
