Habitat for Humanity unveils first-of-its-kind 3D-printed home for Arizona

The home, which was built in Tempe, was built using a 3D printer, which means the 1,700 square foot home's surface looks like layers of vanilla soft-serve. FOX 10's Nicole Garcia reports.

Way happy for the couple!!! Yeah this is definitely the house of the future!!! BTW: Tempe was my town over 30 years ago. Man has that place changed . Downtown doesn’t even look the same. Sad but true. Miss the old vibe. But glad these folks got an affordable home!!

Exactly. When I watched this video I immediately wondered why this guy qualified for the home instead of a low income elderly. He's well spoken, educated, clearly of prime working age and doesn't seem to have any disabilities. Why him and not a disabled, homeless vet?

This is not new tech it's old tech but new in America they have been trying to bring this to America for years if I'm not mistaken this tech has been around Since early 2000s was first talk about helping make cheap homes in 3rd world countries

That recipient seems pretty educated, well spoken, able-bodied and of prime working age. Anyone know the details as to why he qualifies for a home vs a homeless, disabled vet?
