HABITAT METHOD! How to Get ANY Mass Outbreak You Want in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet!

One question I received more than any other is how do you get a specific outbreak to spawn on the map in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. We now know the answer to this important question! Now you can get any Mass Outbreak you want to spawn in just a matter of minutes by using this newly discovered method.
The way you get a specific outbreak is to be in the spawning habitat of that Pokemon while you date skip to reset the daily mass outbreaks. You can check the Pokemon habitat on the Pokedex page for that Pokemon by pressing the + button on their page.
Mass outbreaks respawn once per day in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. So date skipping one day forward while you have your map open in the game will show you different outbreaks to choose from. The trick is to take your trainer into the spawning habitat shown in the Pokedex so you have a better chance to get the Pokemon from that area to Mass Outbreak.

So you don't need to skip the day, just change your clock to 12:00am and the outbreaks shuffle. Even if it's 12:01am, changing it back to 12:00am shuffles them!

You don't even need to do that. Just go to date and time and hit ok. Go back to game and spawns change. No need to change anything.

Did you know you can literally just set the time backwards 1 minute anf everything will reset to something new. Instead of going forwards or backwards a day.

I read somewhere that making a sandwich that is Encounter LV2 for the type you want will more likely spawn the rare outbreaks, I did this with finding a Flareon outbreak and I got it really fast.

It's true I tried it the other night for the first time and it worked right away to get Lurantis outbreak. You also want to stand in the habitat as is shows it on the pokedex

This method does work, but it’s still very much luck based. I feel some Pokémon have a 1% chance to spawn, which is then increased to 5% in their habitat. Or some terrible odds like that

The only suggestion I have is instead of moving a day forward, all you need to do is move backward one minute. Keeps you from jumping all around the calendar, at least. Also, I have probably reset 500 times and still not seen a Ralts outbreak. This is grating on my last nerve lol

You actually don't need to change anything I found out. Just go to date time and hit OK without making any change. It will update the map. So weird but it works

What yall dont also realize is that doing picnics bring out the spawn oitbreaks slightly faster a dragon sandwich woulda gotten you the dragonair in 5 min at least

what you fail to realize is that you can't guarantee anyone will get a shiny in 5 minutes. what you also fail to realize is that people don't unlock the ability to get Herba Mystica until the end of the game. what you also fail to realize is that not everyone is in the exact same situation as you are in right now at the time you viewed this video. perspective is really valuable, you should try to get some.

I've yet to see a Pelipper outbreak and hunting the copious Wingull outbreaks hasn't been easy to say the least. I'll double check the location in game, but I've been in the various beach locations along the South and West coasts.

You don't even have to change the time AT ALL. As long as you go into the clock as if you would change the time, and hit 'OK', it'll refresh the outbreaks, even if you didn't change the time.

That's a rare one. I've never seen it. The one thing I didn't know when I made this video is that encounter power sandwiches will help spawn the right outbreak. Make sure you do that step too. So if you're hunting a psychic outbreak then use a psychic encounter power sandwich or meal from restaurant.

I have been trying for a long time to get a slakoth outbreak. I have used encounter normal lvl 2 sandwich in south province area 1 and i am just not getting it after hundreds of resets. Is that just bad rng?

I think they only spawn in trees. Not sure though. Check Serebii for the Pokémon that can occur in mass outbreaks. It may not be able to.

Look at the habitat for it in the pokedex. Then go to that area to do your resets. You can also eat a sandwich to increase encounter rate for that type of pokemon and that seems to help the outbreak spawn too.

they exist? not sure what you're asking. you can find them i got a shiny from one. make sure you have it in your pokedex or it won't spawn the outbreak.

Nothing you can do about the game lag. Most people won't sacrifice catching any water shiny in the game to avoid game lag. I agree it's terrible they gave us such a laggy game but in the end shiny hunting is a challenge and this is one of the many challenges us shiny hunters will need to overcome to get to our goal!

Sorry idk I think it's not in my game. Check the habitat in the pokedex it should be wherever habitat is marked. Might be multiple locations. You can also eat a level 2 encounter power sandwich and that makes them appear super fast

the food works but standing on their habitat dont make sense and it doesnt seem work to me. even when u go to certain "habitat" still random outbreaks spawns in the map
