That's really interesting they call it "frog phenomena" in Japanese. I guess it might be an autistic trait? If you look at a face and see the individual features and not the person for example... the examples she gave: It's when the person becomes an object eg even the tray-finding behaviour like some sort of chicken lost. But she's clear about if she feels affection in bed at the same time: She is just speaking her mind. I admire your interview skills, to ellicit and to be receptive to the interviewee's feelings as much as their answers.
