Man that is impressive Joe did a great job. That was better than my first two flights on for sure and mine was on a Super Cub DSM. On the down side you may have just ruined that poor guys financial future 😂.
i know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
So glad you did this video @Pilot Ryan... there's already so much resistance to the idea of this being a "first"plane. Rightfully so in the past but I see great potential here for getting many Joe's hooked on this amazing hobby through this.
Just what I needed to see today. I just bought a habu and it showed up in the mail yesterday. But nobody flies it in strictly safe mode. Awesome to see him fly it in safe and his first and second flight .Would love to see him fly the turbo timber. I bought one of those two. And I’ve never flown before
Well done Pilot Ryan and Bobby k for showing joe too fly..Amazing and congrats too joe for his 1st time Flying a jet 💯💯💯💯💯 1000+ likes all the way..Amazing..Pilot Ryan and Bobby K are Awesome Mentor's 👊💯💯👊
Ryan....Bobby. Joe did great. Keep encouraging him to fly. Building on that confidence is the key. I never thought I would see an EDF as a trainer. Took that hard dead stick landing very well. Horizon hit a home run with this one. I see a lot of these being sold after watching this video. 👍👍😉
We saw this video and bought one. Now both of my older daughters are learning to fly with the Habu. I was skeptical at first but as demonstrated on your video an absolute beginner can fly this plane. Great job buddy!!!
Congratulations on your first in the air experience, Joe! Ryan, you didn't mention if Joe had drone or simulator experience prior to this flight. Thanks for helping him into the hobby. Hope he has many more great flights too. I'd like to see more "inexperienced" people doing plane reviews. Sometimes I think the reviewers have been flying so long they forget what a good beginners plane should consist of. Great video.
Awsome Joe! That was a great landing redemption. Looked like a pro landing. Stick with it Pilot Ryan will have you flying on your own channel in no time.
Luckily Joe had the great plane and coach to be successful. Remember those days we had no one to show us jack and our POS plane would barely fly even on a good day? Great job Joe, and coach Ryan. Coach! ;-)
Well this certainly gives me the confidence to fly this jet. I mean Joe has no experience and did a damn good job and I have decent experience with planes but never flown jets so my confidence level has gone up ten fold. I am still waiting on the Habu to arrive. I pre-ordered it weeks ago, but I guess there is a backlog on delivery. That's ok i have a couple planes to keep me busy until she arrives. I'm super stoked about trying this EDF out. Thanks Ryan for another great video for this plane. I'm loving this plane already and I haven't even flow it yet!
Great flying Joe. Yes he's hooked. Joe get ready to spend some money. Ryan my want list just got an addition. My UMX Habu is really dead RIP. This would be great for the Great Grandsons training. ✈😎💗
Great maiden Joe you did better than me my 1st rc flight I was stuck with elevating my turns took me about a week to finally land in safe mode now 4 mos later I'm advanced in a Thunderbolt Twin you can do it if I can 😎👍🛩 I'm very impressed with your flying Joe and that's an amazing platform for beginners Ryan and Bobby will show the ropes the rest is up to you, awesome landing on 4s wow Joe whoo hoo I'm glad you're having so much fun cause that's what rc is all about fir us grown up kids lol 😎👍🛩
Lat October a guy at the field glued on Conscendo wings onto a Freewing Panther, and he said it flew super easy, basically a trainer glider. Jet's can be a trainer as long as the airframe is built right, just like the Habu. Very cool to see someone learn on it :) Also "everybody has to land the plane" What's a landing? I just nose dive when it's time to stop flying ;)
That was fun . I wish our Field had a Pilot Ryan . I flew the v900 five times in a row not crashing , I modified it with wheels . Probably should by a loto ticket .
I love my STS! Fair warning though, the RTF no longer includes a battery and charger. Also, there is no timer on the transmitter. The LEDs do help you in knowing when to land.
I got an old version for 25 bucks no battery or receiver at an auction it was from like 2000 something it was 450 dollars I think, and it had snake stickers on the wings and the tail and it had stickers that were to make it realistic like a danger jet intake and some other things. I’m fixing it up and it is turning out really well and I can’t wait to paint it I’ve never flown a jet so it will be fun when I learn to fly it and all that.
Fantastic! I just bought one ! I have some experience with combat sims I don’t know if it helped me any but it’s very easy to fly in beginner mode ! Nice video fellas !
I'm newly retired and am fixing to purchase my first RC plane. One question I have for anyone reading is, has anyone ever heard of anyone losing a plane because they lost sight of it, and the plane continued to fly into oblivion? I know once I start flying I will be hooked.
Yes that’s a common mistake by folks getting into the hobby. I learned best by having instructor, having an instructor take over when I got to far away,or lost orientation..oh btw crashing will happen..
@Didjeridoolove Thanks for the reply. I understand crashing is inevitable and going to happen. I'm looking forward to getting a beginner plane and starting my new hobby.
Nicely done Joe. Man i cant believe all the wannabe gatekeepers in the EDF community saying this plane is "bad for the hobby". Time to move on gents, the old ways of doing things arent the only ways of doing things.
Hey man! So really quick , on the Habu if I’m at 50% throttle and the nose is pitching down, on my elevator trim I’m pressing down or up? To raise the nose .
