Are they going to update Realflight 9 with this aircraft for us current users of the simulator? I really wish they would update and officially add the most current horizon hobby aircraft.
Picked one up in PNP, didn't even run the 4s setup. Instead I put the 70mm 6s Predator setup from a wrecked FMS F-16 with an Admiral 4000 6s Pro batt. Lots of fun!
@@backyardscaler I had that setup in the original Habu that had a 68 mm fan. Lots of foam cutting to get the 70mm in. Now its 70 mm and very little foam trimming. The bottom of the cockpit and pilot have to go to fit the 4000 in. It flys great!
So Ryan I'm looking everywhere and I cannot find how to use the landing assist I just purchased and installed no directions can you help with a link or so or a comment
Hey Randy, I have not got any experience with that module yet but I would invite you to check out our livestream tonite in about 20 minutes. There maybe someone in the chat who does know what’s up. If I see you I’ll make sure to ask everyone and we can try to help you out.
Thanks for another great video! I appreciate that you take the time, before flying it, to explain everything in detail especially for beginner pilots. I consider myself an intermediate pilot, but I have never flow a jet before and have been apprehensive about it, but after seeing this I would definitely feel confident flying this.
Ryan love your Channel you just explain everything so simply that ages 2- adult can follow like talking to a friend explaining how to do something with your plane very cool always go to your Channel foreknowledge advice on planes keep up the good work love your attitude to keep flying
I have always loved ducted fan jets and have only now just discovered this model on youtube and it looks fantastic but I refuse to buy anything Spektrum related. Ive owned 3 transmitters and all have failed with the models i have bought.
Thank you Pilot. You are doing a very good job. Helpful. Nice video. Unfortunately we pay more than double here in Europe for that plane. More than 400 Euros which is app. 420 bucks!
Great review of a Amazing jet for first time EDF or as a trainer in general you totally nailed every aspect of this Jet in beginer to expert modes love the Flyby Take Care Pilot Ryan
I haven’t heard of the landing module before. Without that module I don’t see this as a beginner’s plane. As an intermediate pilot I’m looking at this as a 1st EDF, but I already own a transmitter & charger. BNF would be best, but I will have to buy PNP & receiver.
I will try to be more open to change. It has taken me four years to prepare for my purchase and maiden of the Eflite Viper on Saturday. I’ve been watching your Viper videos and they have been helpful. I just assembled the Viper last night and to wake up to a trainer “Jet” that someone can get into with no “blood, sweat, and tears”.... well, maybe there was a little bit of jealousy there...I hope people will succeed in learning to fly with this product. Keep going, Pilot Ryan!!!
Men i should of gotten this habo jet I smashed a brand new f18 and f15 in 2days thinking it was gunna b Eazy worst mistake ever I we’ll never make I ended up buying a small mig it’s ok but this here is a great and I mean awesome luring jet brother I think I should go get it
my maiden with landing assist did not go well. the plane throttle upward then landed on its front landing gear and broke it. i think it's happen to everyone because the item been on back order since october. from my own experience, i don't recommend LAS, landing assist, on neither the habu sts nor the apprentice sts.
Awesome flying!!! Man this jet is cool!! I have a few flights under my belt and I’m hooked… if I ordered the 4s 3200 battery, it won’t work with the provided charger?
Wouldn't mind having this in bnf or pnp version. Reminds of freewing rebel which i was about to buy then they sold out. Update they are back in stock about to order.
New to sport. Talking to folks at a potential club as well as folks at local hobby store, everyone is suggesting "don't go with a Jet to learn on", go with Apprentice or the Carbon Cub S2 or similar. Learn those before jets. What's your take on this? I do respect the wisdom of experienced pilots.
Now I am even more conflicted between this, the FMS Avanti, and the FMS BAE Hawk. It all depends on how confident I am after using the simulator. Also, I'm liking the shot to shot transitions👌
Pilot Ryan got a question I got a DX8 and I got a blade program to it can I keep that blade program to it and program my other Jets to it also on the DX8
I ordered this yesterday and was having second thoughts, I'm new to the hobby. After watching this video I feel much more comfortable getting it. Thanks, great video.
I’m not really excited about this product. This is being marketed to a beginner flyer and I know that as a beginner I would have crashed this immediately. Its speed is too much and it’s a low wing aircraft. A trainer jet for someone who has not flown before is setting them up for failure. I understand this has full SAFE but the the transition between intermediate and experienced seems like it would be really drastic. Any thoughts?
be exited... its the new best thing out there as a trainer ! intemediate or expert . and a panic button . and fly slow .low wing means nothing these days. its about stabilization . modes and you have 3 on this jet
Hey Ryan I'm trying to decide on this or the the 64mm Marlin. I am a advance flyer with many jets. Looking to get the best for the money and fun flying in small fly area to fly in. What do you think you would go with..
I preordered mine but in the PNP but will be using a stabilized receiver. Of course I will be posting a review on my Channel for my viewers and suscribers!! Awesome review Ryan!!
Don’t we want new folks to have a shot at success and keep flying? I do. Still have to fly it. I didn’t learn how to ride a bike with training wheels but some did. More power to them. Regards
I really appreciate that. Check out the rest of the channel we have a great time. Probably do a live stream tonite at 8 eastern if you have questions come by. Subscribe and turn on notifications so you don’t miss it.
