Nice one Nige. I built the R2D2 with my grandson who was 14 at the time. He said to me recently, now 19, that it taught him how to use a screwdriver 😂 When it was finished I gave it to him. I said if it wasn’t for him I would have struggled with all the electronics.

Hiya Nigel.. great build :) Ref LMF (Lack of Moral Fibre): That of course was when we didn't understand mental health so well, and assumed /wrongly/ that everyone had the same mental strength /and/ that a lack was somehow contagious. For example in a training accident two Lancasters collided with only one survivor, a tail gunner. He parachuted down but was badly burnt landing in the funeral pyre of what minutes before had been his mates. On release from hospital he couldn't face flying again, but was branded LMF and posted off the base.

You might have missed it but Nigel is greaving the loss of his dog jess and is not really up to building plastic kits at the moment , feeling the way he is . Fair enough ? He's kindly uploading the things he's done before his lose , even though he's likely not to want to do that . Thanks Nigel , i hope you're on the up fella . M
