For match 2 I can relate HARD since I played a game on Kanal while I was plat 5 and had first time ranked players lvl ~52 accounts on my team going against emeralds while I was stuck with a guy who asked what jagers ADS does.
I actively avoid playing ranked because the first and only time I actually went for a rank, I whiffed and my entire team was screaming at me telling me to off myself. I ended that game with a 4.0 K/D by luck, and spent the next two months being harassed by players in casual who thought I was cheating, to the point of people sabotaging me. Ranked can kiss my ass, that was the worst time I've ever played a game. In hindsight, I imagine that's what the actual cheaters feel, and I don't really hold it against them anymore. That was also two years ago.
I have a feeling he might’ve been boosting one or two of the guys on his team, swinging everything like he knew he was in a lobby lower than his and just playing super agro every single round
Clearly toggling walls. There's this thing called closet cheater, where they act in a way to try to hide their cheats. I dunno if varsity ever heard of that concept. One thing is being lucky, another thing is always being in the right place at the right time always aiming where the enemy is before you even see them
@@33up24 my guess is (based on his r6 tracker stats) that it is his first season on PC with history on console, therefore he has a high game sense and is in a lobby far below his skill level
For the Azami not looking at the cheater in match 3 and still killing him, I'm pretty sure that's just an issue with siege the past couple months. There's been two or three times that I thought I was sneaking up on someone because they were facing away just for me to get shot, because in the kill cam they were actually looking right at me
I don't think the dude was cheating, if he's emerald all his peaks made sense, his reactions are probably quicker too. He played very defensively after those first rounds and didn't really over extend, and played patiently. He just outclassed the other team and popped off
Yeah pre ranked 2.0 I was pretty consistently plat 3 and I have had games with former champs and I've also had games with brand new players, sometimes in the same lobby. Ubi claims there's still a hidden MMR determining skill-based matchmaking but if it exists it is NOT working as intended
I have had plenty of times where sound alone has gotten me kills. One match I heard them walk and the smallest sound of glass cracking under their step, I spun a 180, and shot them down stairs just from hearing that. So if you are used to hearing small details, it's pretty easy to know where they are. Like in that case, anyone who watched that would think I was cheating.
Match 2 I think that the guy was just becoming the embodiment of "Siege Timing". Also I had a game of ranked where Myself and my four friends being silver got paired against two coppers and three champs though I believe that was the season that osa came out and there was all kinds of fuckery going on.
Match 2, seems legit the whole time. When you said he was at the right place at the right time (hallway) you'd already stated, Defuse was in Hallway, he's doubling back keeping an eye on it to know whether he needs to go to site or not. Nothing wrong with his gameplay at any point. His use of Cams is huge too, he might slide to a spot to peek, but he knows exactly where he wants to look when viewing cams. Voice comms are essential too. When a lobby gets owned, they accuse the one embarrassing them, just to feel better about getting blasted.
It's always funny when I have that one game out if a hundred where I absolutely steamroll the other team. Getting a legitimate 10/2 K/D in the match is the most satisfying thing on the planet.
Why is it so hard for varsity to comprehend that the point of being a closet cheater is to hide it? You know, toggling, pretending to not know stuff, doing convinient nonsense now and then to hide it... Varsity for real be like "while dude clearly has walls, he's not cheating cuz he's not that good and died a bit"
We submitted a video to you last night. First time encountering a blatant cheater and it was insane. It was casual too, so not sure why they would waste their time using it there, but yeah.... besides watching all your videos it was my first encounter in the real world. Lol
I've come across cheaters in Casual too, and you're right, it makes no sense for them to cheat in Casual, Ubi literally removed MMR and SBMM in Cas, you don't even get RP in Cas either

One thing that's slightly annoying in this series, of which I have watched most of, is that Mr Varsity never takes into consideration what gaming chair they're using...
Match 2: I feel like there isn't Conclusive Evidence that there is Cheating. But if he is very smart, then only using cheats when you need to clutch or you are about to lose the Match. But if you are constantly doing better at the End of the Match, like a lot Better, then it becomes Suspicious. So he could be toggling it on and off throughout the Match to get the same result, while also convincing People like Varsity that "Oh he's just getting lucky." There isn't enough Evidence to say he's cheating. But I think submitting a Report there would be good. Because you would only get to k ow if you checked more of his Matches.
I encountered the same cheater in the first match in this video it happened around mid-January, it's hilarious because it was after Ubisoft "Upgraded" their anti-cheat.

On pc on coastline map one time i played jäger and i proned on main window in kitchen and idk why but i started meleeing and got one or two knife kills through wall.. Idk how or whatever but it happened.. No hacks either lol.
the dex guy to me just looks like hes got lucky siege timing and that his teammates mustve been in his ear with callouts. plus some people just hear the slightest sound que with super hearing. he strikes me as console start and then went to PC. which is why his game sense and strats seem to be there but the aim and recoil control is below emerald. not to mention they are in a lobby with players way below their rank
im over here on xbox g1 max, current s3 with a 1.5 kd in 25 matches and slammed a current champ with a 1.6 kd, my lobbies are with ex champs, mostly on the opposite team and some on mine
i exclusively play casual and my lobbies are insane, randomly get plats and above in my casual lobbies, even got a champ on a few games some days ago, this without mentioning the many many smurfs
the shooting through walls is called manipulation its a technique used to manipulate the game into thinking your on the other side of the wall there are many methods to do it so I can't say for sure what method he is using (dont ask how I know this)
The emerald an champ players on Xbox make a group post looking for gold n lower players so they can 5 stack with people who are way below their rank to get boy lobby's or boost other accounts it's kinda sad honestly
This is the new rank system it's garbage I'm in silver going up against emeralds and diamonds all because I've hit plat in the old system shouldn't be like this.

in the second round he did so many things that do. random aces as well as doing absolutely dog water. and the one other thing is that you cant disregard the power of random ass callouts from friends. you could tell me to peek dragon stairs on theme park cuz theyre half way up and id still miss, but have my friend tell "HEY HES BEHIND YOU" or "AT THE DOORWAY" and ill swing headshot them like im a goddamn diamond player. sometimes its just like that, even when theres no cams, you know?
I was playing oregon and was in the corner of kitchen next to the drone hole near front door and my whole ass leg was sticking through the drone hole (I was just crouch spamming) I then got shot by a kali who was walking by in the hallway that happened to see my leg sticking out
I'm in copper 1 now, I barely play ranked, I only played one season of ranked and get plat. Now I get plat and emerald lobbies. Dex.Cx9 just played like me, I just enjoy chilling at any game I play, even ranked tho. I have lots of diamond champ friends and they all have almost 10 accounts each, their stats was literally champ stats with about 50 ranked games and low level. it just looks normal to me.
This season... Oooo boi, yeah I quit this season at least for ranked just because of the lobbies. Like I'm a previous gold, but now I can't get out of copper because every game I'm against recent previous diamonds or high plats. It's been a really bad season for matchmaking
Since this season started the lowest rank I've played against is emerald. When I was copper and even my first game of the season I was playing against strictly diamonds and champs. My highest MMR ever was barely plat 2. My highest RP was emerald 5 last season 1.3KD. The matchmaking is so screwed up I literally only play with xim champs and diamonds EVERY SINGLE GAME and it's not an exaggeration
I'm currently silver but started out as a copper , and every single match without a doubt I'm in plat diamon or emerald lobbies... I don't get this seasons matchmaking what so ever...
the 2nd match lobby isn’t that weird for me because when I play ranked I always am against plat/emerald even tho I’m a bronze and now silver (this is my first season playing the game)
the craziest thing about the first match, for me, is the 1v3. its a 1v1, defuser down, maybe he was feeling it and got confident and peeked, but i’m emerald 3 and i n everyone else i know would NOT peek anything, we’d just hold white in that situation because there was only 5 seconds left, no way for them to plant, so it’d be a pretty bad idea to just swing all willy nilly, unless maybe… you know where they are ? idk a couple things were sus like that, but also just completely ignored people in corners if he didn’t see them, the valk in freezer. idk weird.
Speaking from experience for match 2. I am normally placed anywhere from Bronze 3 - Gold 2 on console. Since the new season came out, though, I have mainly played against people in Plat 4 - Diamond 5. I'm pretty sure ranked 2.0 is just bad right now. For a bit extra to show how bad it is, I rank from Copper 2 - Silver 2 on pc, but I've been playing against Plats and Emerald players there, too. So the fact that this person is in Emerald playing against low ranked players isn't too surprising.
