One of the most exciting developments in modern science imo. Always a pleasure to listen to Michael, such an intelligent dude. Great balance between empiricism and speculation Also great questions, enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! :) Its really fantastic stuff. I had so many questions after the interview that Michael should be coming back on again in a couple of months!
Bio-science is the up and coming thing, with tons of research to be done aided by theory, of course. Physics has become a floppy floundering fish out of water. I see interdisciplinary pursuits yielding the most progress in the future.
Quantum computing is exploding, and cosmology is pretty exciting at the moment with multimessenger experiments really taking off. Don't rule out the floppy fish just yet :). But I have to agree with you - what is starting to happen in biology and medicine is really out of this world...
Who programmed these machines is a logical first thought that comes to mind. This has been the long-standing argument against darwin or even the more modern evolutionist like Dawkins. So is this a re definition again? If your my age its hard to keep up with what is meant by evolution when its context is all over the place. Revolving triangles corner to corner isnt evolving. The etymological corruption has always hurt this theory with general public outside in the real world.
