Great tone, you really show the Pod Go in its best light there. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks and I am still figuring out how to get the most realistic tones out of it, as I don't like the factory presets that much. This has inspired me to experiment, thanks!
Great tones, but your title is too click-baity for my taste. You didn't show any "hacks or cheats", you just showed how to use the Pod Go's built in functionality...
Hi would you recommend the Pod Go for someone who is very new to effects. I am worried that the limitations on the effects blocks might reduce my chance of figuring out various permutations and combinations as I learn. My other option is a Boss GT1. Thanks for the super video.
To much trouble to get decent tone ….bought both a headrush and pod go same day ,lit go head to head …the headrush is way betta my buddy …but I did love this vid nice work
Haven’t bought one yet - but this is very informative, great idea to utilize what’s available ! Thank you! 5/20 bought it! And I’m back to relearn - thx again!
Sweet tone man, and you got some real skills. Was wondering when you rehearse with your band, is your volume half way or all the way. For me personally I prefer to have some head room so I usually have it half way, and I only slightly increase it when I need more of a punch without adding too much gain.
I downloaded the presets from your last Podgo vid, as well as the preset on this vid. I really like them all. Seriously. You're doing some good stuff over there. Subscribed. All the best.
Dude! Nice playing man! I love the different levels of gain and compression. I'm new to the pod go as of last week so thanks for creating this great preset!
I got the GO to replace my L6 M13 and amp, but ended up keeping the M13 and running it through the Go's FXLoop. I wish the Go had like 2 more blocks...I'd be able to just use IT and ditch the M13. But it's actually a great setup, minus the footprint😉
There is a simple text edit hack to have the one, two or all of volume, wha and fx loop be a freely selectable effect instead. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gtAbpBMMwKg.html
I believe I'm using the Dimarzio Area 58 and 61 pickups at this point. As far as the GFS pickups are concerned...I think I've only used the vintage Neovin pickups and they are ok for the money. But honestly I'm not a fan of their strat pickups
DH Music Thanks for the reply. On another note, I may just check out their gf trons classic vintage. I was going to get the tv jones classic and classic plus which are more expensive and saw your other video. Blessings my friend!
