Had a Close Call Scuba Diving While Clearing Underwater Vehicles In River!

TN State Law: All divers, regardless of whether they are diving from a boat, shall prominently display a diver's-down flag in the area in which they are diving and must surface within 50 feet of the flag. After dusk the flag must be illuminated so it can be seen from a minimum of 300 feet. Any boat used as a necessary part of the diving operation must display, from its mast a diver's-down flag at least 20 inches x 24 inches in size and an international code flag Alpha so that they are visible from 360 degrees. After dark such boats shall illuminate their flags so they are visible from a minimum of 300 feet.

I worry every time either of you submerge into the depths of any water. I’m truly grateful that you are alright after that dive. Please don’t take any more chances like that in the future. I grew up in the area and always heard people say to never swim in the river because of the current, that it flows a lot faster underneath than it looks like it does on the surface, especially after it rains. Very glad to see you are safe! Lots of respect for what you all do, I hope you stay safe out there.

Nug you said you were nervous before going on the second dive. That was your GOD given intuition to double and triple check everything on your equipment before diving. Listen to your instincts🙏 GOD gave you those instincts and your amazing ability to do this amazing service FREE to help find the missing and bring them home and give families some closure and PEACE and also help law enforcement to close out cold cases too. So thankful that you're okay💞🤗💞👍🙏 I can't imagine how you stayed calm enough to get yourself back to the surface but PRAISE GOD that you did and you're okay.
