HAD TO DROP IT... [Honkai Star Rail] 

I know I've been lazy with content lately but let me know what you want to see more of coz I'm back in the zone for HSR. (Podcast will always be a thing too) Can't believe how much fun I'm having with the Feixiao account, she is crazy fun!

I used to play other gachas where I would drop accounts to "main" one character and build them then I realised I just like the experience of building a character as the content gets harder it feels a lot more fun to build for the challenge rather then level 80ing a new pull for content you can clear anyway.

Personally I would never be able to swallow the grind I have to redo for a new account after playing for a year or two. Though I have to give respect to whoever having the balls to do it, especially if it give more enjoyment to the person in question.

I am doing something similar for a while now. My main is pretty much beaten everything, and has two pretty solid teams. I am skipping Feixiao on the main, and pulling her on my alt. The alt account is to play with any characters I don't want to pull on the main. It is pretty fun, but it is also exhausting to maintain two accounts in HSR. I love the story in HSR, but it really needs a skip feature. Personally, I am not enjoying going through the story again on the alt.

Basically: you pulled Eidolons on characters and stopped having fun. That follows. Limited character dupes in hoyo games have killed so many peoples' joy. lol

I am the complete opposite of you, I can't fathom having multiple accounts or having to restart from zero (mainly on Gacha games), I'll be using just one account till the inevitable "End of Service", unless something happens to my account before that, if I find myself in a state where I'd have to start again, well, at least I will have a better understanding of what I want for the New Game+ experience.

I'm the opposite: if I had to grind from the start, I'd quit the game. 🤣 While I do hope you can keep the joy you're feeling now, eventually this account will clear all the content and you'll be back to square one. Still, if you're having fun, that's what matters.

Ok after the pvp tournament i really want more.... And hope you guys make your own pvp tournament with new moc...to make it a little serious...winner can add a new rule in next moc like that 😂

In a game where there is no skip button for story, I can't even imagine how tiresome it will be to go through the same story again.

My son used to play hsr then quit the game after FX. He just didn't like the game anymore. Had a stacked account to But a couple of weeks ago he got back into the game. Got over 50k gems after finishing off the story and all the permanent events He's back down to 20k gems now as he rolled. Got feixiao to E1 got her sig LC to. Also Robin with her sig lc. His account is stacked and he's loving the game Hsr does give a lot to new players. Well worth coming back to

Day one player, I'm in the same boat. My account has so many characters, well built, I don't even know what to do with them. These weeks I've been overcapping my energy because at some point logging in just for dailies becomes a slog. Without a skip function there's no way I'd start an alt account though

starting a 2nd account allows you to pick up more/other chars which your main might skip, however it will take you a while til you unlock the 3rd trace for whoever really relies on that

Getting to end game is logging in, spending your power on gear, not getting the gear you want, trashing them, while completing dalies, wait for the next day and repeat until the next update. If there's a character you want you pre-farm.

when he said 'i enjoy playing from scratch' first thing i thought of was 'he enjoys dong that because he plays afk arena'

I got bored during 1.6 and created an Alt account. I now enjoy it a lot more than the main. The Alt is 100% free to play and now running two follow up teams and a DoT team. Currently have Feixiao/March/Adventurine/Ruan Mei as one team and the other is RRAT. It is so much more fun of a playstyle to me than what my main had. Having E1 Ruan Mei/E2 Firefly and a solid built E0S1 Acheron lineup with E0S1 Silver Wolf made the game start to become 'easy mode. I could even max Pure Fiction with those two teams (swapping Herta/Himeko in for Silver Wolf). Just was getting stale. I still keep up both.

Im on the same story just started playing again and have 2 5 stars feixiao and Clara I've been enjoying it and I saw the new character rappa looks so dope

Day two of playing as well here with not-so-new account. I have also an old “rerolled” account where I created in April (Adventurine banner) and roll for Adventurine. I stopped playing for a couple of months. (Life) and then I decided to go back when I saw Feixiao’s trailer on RU-vid. The game gives u bunch of rewards as a returnee in HSR. Had like a total of 1.9 gems then pulled, first 10 pull… then BOOM! Feixiao. Imagining having Feixiao in a level 12 account, she literally obliterate everything in sight. Fast forward did Jarilo 6 missions and finished Cocolia’s mission (Oh I love this part of this game, the soundtrack, the feeling it still gives me chills). After doing this at account level 20 I have 3.7K gems and some summoning tickets. Decided to pull in Robins banner, and guess what first 10 pulls again… BOOM! Robin 😮 I was shookt! Can’t believe the luck of this account has. At level 22 I have Basically, Feixiao, Moze, Robin and Adventurine. I might have to stay at home for this couple of days😂

I like thinking my account as a roguelike and just roll with whatever happens without rerolling. One reason why I dont pull lightcones is so that I still get excited over 4* lcs from the gachas or events unlike the limited one which is just straight up shortcut. Also, I like the progression aspect of it, watching it grew from barely any 5* to now have more than a dozen, being able to create multiple teams is satisfying. In terms of challenge tho I made a rule to not have any limited eidolons so that it wont be overkill. Im still looking forward to pull new characters and teams and trying them out cos its just fun, not necessarily cos I need them for clearing content.

Yeah, I’m a new player and this was the perfect patch for me to join in. Pulled Fei and Robin less than 50 pulls 🙏🏽

I have been playing 2 accounts since a month into the game and Its kept things fresh since I can pull almost all the characters on different accounts and it makes it fun

Same Volkin i dropped my main account and continue my Robin and Bronya account and got lucky i got Feixiao and her Light cone =w= now im trying my luck to get Robin's Light cone since I don't have her best f2p LC from the limited event.

Completely understandable. I used to watch you play afk arena and that game making a new account was kinda the whole fun lol. Only issue with doing that for this game is the unskippable dialogue

I feel you..I also slowed down quite alot when there is no more progression left. Its natural. I love building stuff and testing stuff out but that can only go on for so long, sadly. Not a fault of the game, after 1000 hours, Elden Ring is also 100%. Cant fault the games for me conpleting them completely. For Gacha I always have multiple accounts because I wanna play with all characters in the game and thats impossible with just 1 or 2 accs.

Going through all the quests, the sidequests, and the events, you are pretty much guaranteed to get 200+ pulls by 2.6. This doesnt count the achievement rewards, the index rewards for simulated universe (SU and GnG), and divergent universe. Burning through all the possible rewards, you might be able to get 300+ pulls Also, you might want to consider pulling for Robin, atleast E0, since she is very useful for Fei Xiao, and getting Moze to E2

New accounts refreshed the game for me. Its pretty fun to not know who or what your gonna have on your acct and just roll with it. You end up playing with characters and teams you wouldn't have otherwise. I mostly stopped doing it because I eventually just burn out of having to sit through cutscenes and it just took too much time to manage multiple for me.

same, I just recently came back to my alt after 100+ days since my main absolutely demolishes all content. I also have different characters on there so I can have more enjoyment in using those "new" units with different playstyles. although I sometimes miss the op characters I have on my main, I'm having fun reliving the pain I had back then now that I know how to actually play the game lol

Loosing my 50/50 to fexaio actually brought me back. I was inclined to build all of these negleted 5 stars and finally push content.

As a person maintaining 4 accounts, 1 for each dps path (erudtion started recently) yes it does get repetitive especially doing story and events but the fun of building characters and getting shown the result is such a rewarding experience. PLUS as a f2p it gives me the capacity to pull on every characte I like and build them as i essentially get more stamina spending power. 1 tip i can give is for main story atleast save those on your "alt accounts" and play them when you needed to progress or ready ro grind the account again. Ive been doing it quite some time now and whenever I replay the main story theres some details i miss out on the first playthrough. For events is another story, i mainly just concentrate on 1 account then just copy paste what i did to other accounts lol.

I did created a new account this patch mainly just so i could try to play with feixao, she looks really good and awesome to play but my main account has no space for her, i dont have any characters for her so it will be a waste to pull her, the problem is, this game is the worst when it comes to gacha, for normal banner i got a bailu and then i lost the 50/50 to yanching, you know what i did? i deleted that account right way.

Might give this a try. Im at a similar point on my main. All the challenge is gone. No reason to pull. I do miss building up chars bit by bit, instead of being able to instantly cap a characters level and have solid relics 1 minute after pulling. I also miss barely being able to clear a floor in MoC and how accomplishing that felt

i had old alt that was tl6 and i was using it only for new patch free summons to the point when i got e1 robin in single 10-pull (bc new patch gives bonus 1k jades) so i started playing on it a bit and i ended up getting e1 feixiao on same day too. i decided ill play on this acc super efficient (unlike my main), got clara from begginer too and so far im having a blast playing on it

I ended up starting a no pull account for similar reasons and i've been enjoying it quite a lot. The endgame does get kinda boring when you can get max stars on everything with auto...

I have an idea.. wouldn't it be cool instead of pvp, there is a coop version. You get to fight bosses that are really tanky and get good rewards if you defeat them. Maybe to start out two players, so 8 characters versus one boss.. or players get to choose 2 characters each to made a team out off.

Best thing about two accounts is play one for two weeks swap get bonus rewards

What you are doing in this banner, I did on Yunli`s patch. She is awesome on a new account as well. It`s been a blast! Already got Feixiao and her light cone. Now i`m farming for Robin, I hope i can get her before the banner ends. My main account is the same. I got Archeron and Firefly premium teams. I can blast everything there. On this alt account, I can have fun with other characters that my main broke account can`t. It has been awesome!

"If I'm getting Yanqing, Gepard, Bailu..." I'm sorry, I still think Gepard making your whole team basically immune to damage is pretty good. He doesn't do anything else, but at the very least he's a functioning sustain who's SP-positive.

I dropped long time ago when I know I probably run out of room on my phone storage over time with other games. Was hoping it would come to ps4 as it appears it would run better then genshin did but they didn't. Hope they bring it to switch 2 as I know it will get games I will enjoy and take with me. Hope they put money in upgrades and no gimmick, but only the time will tell soon.

Hsr was my favorite game until powercreep starts to be too massive to ignore once Acheron came out.

I dropped HSR and felt a huge relief. Game is good but is becoming bloated with units. Alot of good new gachas coming out in the next few months.

I just did the same thing on and old reroll account but i totatly skipped the begginer banner, nothing worth there besides HImeko.. even bronya is meh compared to the new harmonies

Personally it's been 2 banner that i loose my 50/50 for a bailu and this one where i really want Black Swan IS like my last try and if they keep fuking again it's juste not possible, even if the storie is great...

While it may not be the same, I can sorta feel/relate to what you're saying/feeling. When it comes to gacha games, I love progressing through them cause it feels fun and exciting, and in general, I just love the sense of progression in games. I like having something to always look forward to or push towards to keep the game(s) from getting stale or dull. It's because of this reason that I've played over 65 gachas to date over the years, which can either be seen as a small or large number to some. Gacha games tend to have decent progression systems for the most part, not all do, of course. In some gachas I genuinely enjoy, I'll make alt an account in them just to get that feel of progression again and also seeing how it is to progress after the game has received many QOL/Updates. I love gacha games, but also hate them at same time as they take away my time from playing non gacha games XD. Unrelated but, I don't really post comments on videos ever, but I do wanna take this chance to say I've always been a huge fan of you Volk as a long time gacha player over the years.

well, can't say I'm surprised. All the talk about how vertical progression is much better, yet now you feel that, maybe playing star rail with only one unit is pretty ass, considering how plain the combat really is.

hey those events have become permanent but you lose ton of jades like if an event gives 800 jades for eg when it is running then the conventional memoir will only give you around 100-200 jades max i dont like that but yeah i skippedsome events in 2.3 and 2.4 and i dont feel like completing them anymore coz i will get absolutely nothing compared to before

Pulling eidolons will make the game easier. Limit yourself on one account and lightcone only.

I have started HSr fir a second time few months ago cos I saw something about Penaconi. Penaconi was a great experience albeit a bit disappointing. As soon as we went to Loufu and the more I paly the more bored I become. While typing this comment the game is autobatling some traces. at the end I only have 1 hour of good time per patch so I guess I will be deleting the game again. Maybe reinstall after a year.

You should consider pulling on Robin though as well. Because as awesome as Fe is, she's a massive drop off when she doesn't have Robin. Sadly no harmony character not even Ting can replace a Robin with Fe.
