Hades 2 Early Access reviewed by Mitchell Saltzman on PC.

Early Access means absolutely nothing these day. It could simply be the developers wanted to polish out some bugs, balancing and/or gauge interest on how far they can further expand their game. There are also Early Access titles from triple AAA game studios, so the entire "Early Access" thing is just a superficial label.

@@zaknafein254There are some “Early Access” game that’s been in Early Access for over 10 years like 7 Days to Die and Project Zomboid. “Early Access” doesn’t really mean anything anymore. Youre still buying an incomplete game at launch at full price, but the developers get a pass because “guys it’s still Early Access”

The NPCs like Nemesis and Eris use the same weapons we unlocked with Zagreus in the first game... that's a very cool detail!!

@@Jay-fm7md If you are asking about the first Hades, it's pretty much a perfect game. It does absolutely *everything* well: story, characters, art, music, gameplay. It is the rare game that absolutely deserves a perfect 10/10 score because there's simply very little to criticize.

Im 250 hours and the great thing is you unlock all story dialogue about 200hours in. Replayability for the first game is insane for that priceeee

@@ThwipThwipBoom well there is an epilogue after finishing a certain number of runs and some conditions successfully. So yeah Id say that would be the true ending. 75 hours and still havent reached it tho XD

IGN gave Stellar Blade a 7 when on Metacritic the audience has given it a 9/10. So IGN giving Hades 2 a 9/10 means the game is actually an 11/10.

yea but there's a sort of meta-progression where you can use resources from your past runs for permanent upgrades. so as you get more powerful along with more knowledge/experience, each run gets easier. technically you can beat the first game in 25 minutes but nobody expects you to
