I beat hades with half my Health, no revive left, i was like: that was eas-, then Zagreus was like « get up father », then I said « no no no No please stay down daddy » I lost 😞

When I first got to the Hades fight, I had the heroic level greatest reflex, maximum permanent dash, and the aegis shield. To make a long story short, I still go crushed because I'm a horrible gamer.
Demeter cast that shoots the beams is insane, drains health bars especially against lernie. Get a high damaging weapon paired with tidal dash or Athena dash and you're good
The problem I’m having is NON SHIELD RUNS and Demeter and her chill Rarely shows up. She is the last god that I’ve yet to give more then 1 forty to since she’s rude
Relying on this method can get rough when you start fighting hades at extreme measures 4 because he pushes you out if you try hug him; it is a good idea to get used to dodging his beams. But nevertheless great advise for new players :D
My first try beating Hades was super frustrating, I almost killed him in the first phase, being very upset that I died not knowing that it was just the first half of the boss fight hahaha
Same. If I would have choosen the shield instead of the damn sword because it had 25% more darkness I would have beaten him too. The shield is OP af if you ask me.
Dont know if its a good strategy but the only time I can beat him is when I upgrade my attack to the crap house to make the fight shorter, because, when you tickle him and he takes half your bar with one attack, it makes the fight long, drawn out and I will eventually die
Yeah I feel that. If the fight keeps on going I just get way to risky with it and tanking his damage isn't something you really should do, the thing is that before getting to him it's so easy but than he starts regaining all his health and i'm fucked...
Thanks for the vid. I've beaten Hades a few times, but only once without God mode. Didn't realize Hades carried his momentum during his swing attack. And thanks for reminding me of the obvious "kill the enemies that overwhelm you" or "stay behind him for crits." Basic things like that kinda get thrown out of the window while I'm panicking
Wtf…..I had no idea that shield blocked 100% damage. Never really used the block because every game I’ve played that has a shield always does a percentage decrease in damage with possibly 100% decrease only on a perfectly timed parry (on single hit attacks) but NEVER 100% block when you can just hold it up infinitely. Didn’t even think to test it because I just assumed lmao. Well shield it is from now on xD. Does this work for all attacks (melee, poison, aoe, etc.) or only casting?
It works for everything, as long as you're facing (obviously) the direction the attack is coming from. If you get hit in the back, shield is not gonna help much
Same, shield it is before I beat him once. I just need to beat him ONCE. Than I can finaly start leveling up the bow or the spear or something I think it abit more fun than the shield eventhough it seems to be OP.
I just had a shield and revenge build with doom and i couldn't beat the second phase, there is just too much going on. Im kinda getting pissed because this is 10 times I've fought him with no win
you'll get there man! i never thought i would beat him even ONCE! but after rethinking my strategy and just learning the fight, i can beat him pretty consistently. before you know it, you'll be beating him left and right with all the weapons!
I just beat him on first attempt. I hid in corner with shield and got the boon that shoots a piercing shot instead of bullrush.. I don't think I'll ever beat him without cheesing him lol cuz I still almost lost
I clearly suck at this game. After 25 runs tried God mode. Now at 45 runs and 40% God mode, still can't beat Hades. Without God mode i would have stopped playing weeks ago. Still don't have any idea how the boon combinations work and game doesn't explain them? How is your shield doing that extra damage? How can you upgrade it? So many questions watching your video.
There are 2 methods that are guaranteed to get you there buddy. One is the phalanx shot from Athena, paired with the sword with aspect of posiedan. That dislodges your cast. Use pom to power it up. The other is this shield, paired with ares doom ability. It slaughters. Just keep powering it up, always build your health and mobility.
@@ColeMay He said he's only done 20 attempts... The only useful advice to him so early in the game is to just keep trying different things until his darkness is built up a bit and he's collected a bunch of keys. He CERTAINLY doesn't have aspect of Poseidon unlocked after just 20 runs.
For the crazy 360 fire laser attack, instead of hiding behind a pillar, you could stay right beside him when he launches the attack. You won’t suffer any damage
Thank you! It took me a few tries to simply stop panicking lol and then i dashed to far out or the screen was filled with effects and i couldn't concentrate on his behaviour So seeing the attacks one after another was very helpful!
I'm set to throw that game in a furnace! I saw that power drop... I got all happy. FOR 4. F'N. SECONDS. I'd be lying if I said I DIDN'T scream F RIGHT OFF in a pillow... I was Black out Furious! As I saw myself end up BACK at Ground zero... I swore to Never play that game again.
while i'm at the point where i can probably get to hades with anything without any extra heat, i keep fighting this trying to time dodges like it's fucking DARK SOULS STOP IT JAWA OH MY GOD IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT anyway, i'm still trying to find the line between doing good damage and actually having a call to fall back on so that i don't Die Instantly
Always great when u get to him with full health and 2 respawn a yet the game crashes and if u quit there it sends u back to the house instead of last save ducking stupid lost all my progress and material I got on that run
Man.... I am currently struggling HARD to beat hades I finally beat him.... so I thought. And BAM there is a whole phase 2 I was using the Rails gun weapon. And I had THREE death defiance left His phase 2 took all 3 and ended me.... I do not believe in myself to make it to Hades with all 3 left while using the shield.... but if this video is proof enough, I'm going to try it I rly rly just wanna beat him

What make this boss extremelly hard is you don't have enough damage. Eventhough i have already beat Hades a few time with shit build. I still have trouble when he summoned damn mob. They are also super tanky.

I got to Hades my 11th try, I think that's good. I beat his first phase and died 1/2 way through the second one because I had no idea what his attacks were.
bro what how I'm at 20 attempted escapes i roll through the first 3 bosses and end up at hades with 1 more death defiance or 2 sometimes and still cant beat him
I was fighting Hades around my 19th escape attempt (I already beat him for the first time on attempt 15) and I was coming off of a win streak of 2 with the spear and sword, then decided to use the fists, got to Hades with 4 death defiances and still choked… couldn’t even be proud of my 3 Hades kills so far or my back to back wins
