YES!!!! please more Hadestown! Highly recommend checking out "Our Lady of the Underground," "Wait for Me (Reprise)", "Living it Up on Top," and "Way Down Hadestown." I'm pretty sure you can find performances of all of those on RU-vid, whether directly from the show or at other performances (such as parades, late night shows, etc.)!

I saw this show last year, when it was on tour. It was pretty incredible and this particular song was the highlight of the production. I can't even describe to you what it is like seeing it performed live - they toned some of it down here in this performance, there's a lot more to it in the actual show. More choreography, more of the song and more of the lights and incredible stage production. I got chills when I watched it - the kind of chills that wrack your whole body.

And Reeve Carney (Orpheus) such a talented guy! btw a few days ago Hadestown celebreted 1000 perfomances on broadway!
technically speaking It's the Underworld, run by Hades. Greek Mythology, the Underworld was home to both definitions of Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between. Hades merely ran it hence Hadestown. As far as where this show takes place.. well, the fates sing it perfectly, "Down in the river of oblivion you kissed your little life goodbye and Hades laid his hands on you and gave you everlasting life; and everlasting overtime in the mine, the mill and the machinery. Your place on the assembly line replaces all your memories.."
