Sadly, I never got to see Amber on her original run but Lana is incredible as Persephone, definitely will come into her own in the role by Spring

@@wtlgo_mag Same about Amber. I would have loved to see her live but alas I don't even live in the States so a quick trip to see her was out of the question. I'm still hopeful that with Hamilton's success we might have a chance at a pro shot though and considering Amber was with Hadestown since almost the beginning, maybe she'd return for that.

@@junipersr i could be wrong, but i've heard from a few sources that there is a pro shot stored away somewhere! so theres definitely a possibility we'll be able to see it recorded with amber on it as well :)

@@morganf9272 from what I know every Broadway show is legally required to have a recorded performance stored somewhere. Unfortunately, they are basically unaccessible unless you are a theater student in New York. I wish there was a way to purchase those recordings, but I assume most Broadway theaters wouldn't let them get released as the quality isn't exactly perfect.

@@junipersr it’ll be more of a licensing issue, proshots like the Hamilton one on Disney+ are filmed specifically for public release, whereas any footage filmed for promotional and archival purposes are only legally allowed to be released to the public in part for marketing reasons. There are some great pro clips of Hadestown but these are from a full recording that wouldn’t be legally allowed to be released in full.
