Recently acquired one in .30-06 and was also surprised at how well it handled the recoil. I had a good look at the straight pull’s on offer at the British Shooting Show in the NEC earlier in the year, where I had been thinking of the Beretta BRX 1 as a budget working rifle. Also looked at the Blaser and Merkel offerings but couldn’t justify the price for something that might get knocked around a little. Once I got my hands on the Haenel NTX my mind was made up and I decided to wait until one of these was available. Can’t say I’ve been disappointed, a quality rifle at a fair price point in my opinion!
@@kristijanmedved6066 I have achieved 5 round groups of of less than 1 MOA at 100m using Winchester Extreme Point 150 grain non-toxic ammunition with my rifle, literally one large ragged hole in the target! I have a Freyr & Devik Featherweight suppressor fitted, which I believe helps tame the recoil.
Me personally 6.5 Creedmoor mainly as there is so many options on ammo and the lack of recoil. I've used 6.5 Creedmoor copper on reds and it was faultless even at 220 yards, if your in Staffordshire or nearby I have a few options available aswell at the rifles from the video I'd 30-06 ends up being your choice.
