Viewers of acclaimed TV series Hinterland will recognise the area of todays walk. We start at the Hafod Hotel now beautifully refurbished but back in 2015 was the location of the former children's home in the series.
The bridge and the falls beneath also feature in the series and we take you to the base of the fall right beneath the famous 3 stacked bridge.

Having ridden past it so many times over the years I am embarrassed to admit I had no idea the Devil's Punchbowl walk was there. Having said that with my rebuilt left leg there is no way I could manage those steps, up is OK, down is a problem! A superbly filmed video and many thanks for sharing this. By the way, isn't amazing how the camera 'stick' (I don't know the correct name sorry) disappears when you direct the camera back at you on the viewing platform at the bottom!! Also...........I doubt if I could fit thru that turnstile either as I'm 6"1"+ and 16 stone 😎

We were the same, ridden by many times but really glad we stopped at the hotel for a few nights. Disappointed to not have our bikes there but we just needed a break so took the car as the weather was rubbish. If you think those steps were bad, I filmed the much bigger walk the other side! Will again be on Carol's channel at the weekend.
