With only the vaguest of plans (even by our standards) the only thing we had in mind was a stop at The Horseshoes at Berriew - chosen because they are happy to allow campervans to overnight in exchange for you spending a few ££.
Given the average 'no facilities' site is looking for around £25 a night at this time of year the idea of a decent stop off with the added bonus of food and drink on site is a win / win.
The food was great, the people lovely and we'd happily return.
On then to Devil's Bridge (Wales) for a somewhat strenuous walk, followed by a visit to a postman's shelter and then on to the abandoned mining area of Titterstone Clee Hill - a rather odd placed indeed.
Weather forecast wasn't great for Sunday so we set of home.
