ಹಾಗಲಕಾಯಿ ಗೊಜ್ಜು ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಅತ್ತೆಯವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲೀಲಮ್ಮನವರು ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧಗಳು ಇರಬಹುದು.
ಆದರೆ ಮೇಲಿನ ವಿಡಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಸಿರುವ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವೂ ಮಾಡಿ ನೋಡಿ.

Ingredients for grinding
1/2 tablespoon Urad Dal
1 tablespoon of sesame
Half a tablespoon of cumin
A quarter tablespoon of fenugreek seeds
One cup of grated dry coconut
1 cup of tamarind extract/juice.
Dry chilli - 8
Two finely diced bittergourds
Jaggery
Salt
For Tadka:
4 tablespoons of oil
Mustard
Chilli
Turmeric
Hing (asofoetida)
Curry
A little bit of coriander
