People usually reject or dislike bitter gourds due to it's bitter taste. But such healthy vegetable can be used to make a number of tasty curries. Here is a simple curry recipe by using fresh bitter gourds which can be stored more than a week. Frying the bitter gourd pieces with oil becomes an important step in this curry to remove it's bitter taste. So curry results in a very minimum bitter taste, but it is a good flavor too
Ingredients:
Bitter gourd 2
onion small one
coconut oil 3/4 cup
red chilly powder 1/2 sp
turmeric powder 1/4 sp
salt, tamarind and jaggery according to taste
