Huge shoutout to Top Rank for releasing so many of these classic fights in high-quality digital. It's amazing to have so much beautiful history in the ring right at our fingertips. I've only been into the sport for six years or so, and I never have a shortage of study material from the greats thanks to uploads like these.

If you pause the video @ 8:31, you can see the racist fans starting to throw things in the ring a Hagler. Top Rank cuts out that part for some reason. Fortunately, Hagler got out of there unharmed physically.

yep - hag walked right thru those punches -- minter would have needed a much much harder jab to slow him down -- he didnt -- i thought marvin was gonna kill him - made me wince a couple of times

Opportunities were laid out for this fighter and the path made easy for him to accomplish this goal. Crawford was denied many fights and opportunities which stunted his progress in this sport. Even though doing it in one year is very impressive it’s not more impressive than the fighters Crawford defeated!!!
