Regis, I don't know if you'll ever see this but I want to say thank you for making so much quality content, I was laid up with shoulder surgery recently and it really helped pass the time. I did a Blizzard survey a month ago or so and wrote in your name when they asked for streamers that I liked.
The game against the druid when he was 8-1, he had turn 1 lethal if he had more time, play party portal -> Coin -> Hero power -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives -> Throw Glaives..... Then swing for "infinite damage"
the eeriness of Regis outro being "game..." Like you can assume he said "game on". But what if he was possessed by the evil spirit of the deck and now he wishes everyone "game off"?
1:39:00 could use glaive on a whelp before Altruis to put it in outcast. Then reflection pops the shield and fills board. Then glaive a 1/1 Altruis followed by another glaive on the Onyxia to clear. If he had done glaive throw on all but the 4/2 Altruis he could've done 28 damage that turn.
Problem tho, was time. It doesn't give glaive back until all the animations were done. So he had to think fast and not wait until last 20 seconds to do his move.
It’s crazy how immersed I get in these runs to the point of getting angry at that mage fight because of how hopeless the draws felt. I think the deck got split between being a meek deck and a fel spell deck, with meek being meek and carrying super hard, but in the end that mage was probably going to win in any case because of their lack of minions to cast off of and sheer board control (unless you started with portal and glaive, which I was hoping to see, haha) Love the videos in any case, been watching Hearthstone for a long time but can’t be bothered to play, always fun to see someone enjoy the more chaotic aspects of the game. I always tune in when you or Trump uploads, so keep up the great content!
This video brought up an old grievance of mine. Why does explosive rune work the way it does on divine shields. The card's effect is deal 6 damage to a minion, deal any excess to the enemy hero. So hitting a divine shield with any other damage registers as 0 damage dealt. But that should either mean that the enemy hero gets hit for 6 or none as well. Combustion doesn't work that way and their effects are basically the same...
I actually appreciate the non click bait titles. I actually stopped watching other's because I can't stand that they resort to click bail BS instead of focus on quality content. Cheers to you!
Glad you’re liking duels again Regis. I’ve gone back to it recently (while waiting for more balance in standard and wild) and been loving it. It’s on paper the most balanced game mode at the moment (asides from ping priest being a little oppressive). Even BGs has the insane frog meta. I’ve now got 12 wins on every class and working towards perfect 12-0 on all.
The reason meek mastery doesn't update the minions from reflections is the same as to why the minions under the effect of the Crystal Core Quest aren't 5/5 when summoned from spells with specific stats. They made it so spell effects override auras, not the other way around because being unable to change the stats of a board turned out to be a bit broken. The issue was that attack nerfs and health buffs would get instantly reverted. This change to balance crystal core also affected all other similar auras.
Dude, the party portal, hero power, throw glaive turn one would have been so sick. I'm so sad no one told him in time. Edit: Kinda got it later in the run so redeemed a little bit xd.
my best broken run on duell was with Rogue the 1 cost minion hero power, mostly had neutral cards and then got meak mastery as first treasure and then the Summon Adventurer every turn treasure as second. I could cheat most times a 0 cost minion per turn thanks to hero power and had many good neutral cards like watchtower that annyoed the Enemy. I felt disgusted, but hyped while playing it
This self-sacrifice strat with throw glaive and party portal reminds me of a joke deck Trump made once for a brawl... think it was the six-shooters brawl or a different variant? The strat was literally make opponent concede by constantly playing snowflipper penguins and using a removal on them, think it was Mortal Coil. Creative, but not effective.
It would never be good/work, but now I really kinda want to see a "spell demon hunter" who plays exactly 1 minion (Jace), get Elixir of vigor, and then essentially just infinite Shudderwoks the game haha.
So at 1:07:31 Couldn't he just get lethal round one. Cause if he plays portal then coin that summons a 2/2 then he hit button and just uses theowing and continues does that till get he 30 damage. Am I wrong?
1:07:30 he could have won turn 1 or 2. Just play party portal, coin to summon a minion you can kill with glaive, hero power and then glaive down those 2/2s to get infinite attack on your hero?! Like how didn't he see that. That would have been hilarious.
He didn’t have enough time on either of the turns because of the animations and the opponent being at full health, the damage wouldn’t have been enough
Regis you really gotta fix your thumbnails for these duels videos, or at least put the word "Duels" in the title. The word duels in the thumbnail is so small as to be unreadable, on mobile or pc. I don't want to watch duels content but I feel like I'm being tricked by these videos.
I mean literally every card in the thumbnail is Duels exclusive. You think I'm trying to trick you by showing ALL Duels cards?? I mean sure if I was using regular cards maybe it'd be confusing, but... I'm not. I also use the Duels teal color as the background color for every Duels thumbnail. The few times the main card in the thumb hasn't been Duels exclusive, I've included identifiers in the title. (along with other Duels cards in the thumbnail of course).
@@RegisKillbin Yeah, the thumbnail consists of literally only 3 Duels Treasures, pretty self-explanatory :) Also, your duels content are a blast, so if anything, please add more :)
