I finally finished my second major infantry block for my Hail Caesar Imperial Romans; in this case, an auxilia (auxiliary) infantry cohort from Warlord Games. Great kit, and really glad to have it finished. I'll be taking a bit of a break from HC to focus on my Bolt Action Germans (see my previous BA update from a few videos prior to this), but will return to my Romans shortly!

Man you had me nervous when you were prying on that mini. I was thinking "don't do it it's going to snap." :) They look really good and I would have done the basing the same way to make them useful for different games or units. Looking forward to those Germans.

Always good to get a unit completed! Looking good so far. I've got a Bolt Actionable force as well, but I play with Iron Ivan's rules mostly (its a D10 system). Its Waffen SS, so I'm contemplating assembling a Russian force to match them so I don't care which side wins.

they were recruited from other nations so would be taller than romans as they were shorter.

darren thiele That's what I figured, but that would make the guys 6"2" or taller (given that most legionaries were 5'4"-5'6")...I've found a unit of giants!
