Bryan Kral Yeah he is a great drummer. He adds a slight touch of his own to the songs, it makes it really cool actually. Allens band Vis is really neat too.

Hell yeah vis is super under rated! Allen has a style all his own. It actually adds a really cool slightly unique touch to Donovans compositions.

The reason the drum audio is so good is because this is the recording straight from the drum mics. Of course that isn't going to pick up the vocals as well as the vocal mic, they're designed to catch as little outside the drums as possible for a clean recording.

I hear u but I certainly love to see both Donovan as just lead singer and love to see him kill it singing while drumming. He's an amazing musician, he's too damn good at both to not do both, imo.

I don't know dude. Been following this band since wayyy before they had Allen and Donny plays it and sings it just like the recording. Maybe it's just cause I've seen them more times before they had Allen I just miss seeing Donny kill full sets doing both.

Yeah yeah of course I know, I'm a musician myself and I know this very well ! What I'm talking about is how the musicians are moving like look at John (bass) in the intro, it looks kind of strange, or am I tripping balls ? Maybe the video is in 60fps and it's fucking with my brain, maybe it's because I watched this just after waking up, I don't know. In NO WAY i'm accusing anyone of "cheating", I know that HTS are playing their stuff well, I KNOW it's not sped up, it just SEEMS to me like it is ;)

The frame rate of the camera is probably contributing to this quite a bit. It can look like a lot of movements are accelerated or jerky because of skipped frames. It's a bit disorienting sometimes for sure.

Noé Sierra-Velasquez the stronger you play, the faster your body wants to continue, realting force to speed, they are going crazy on the show, it's hard to keep it slower like the album version

Once again I'm not talking about tempo, rather about how the video looks. It's probably due to shutter speed being ultra fast, each frame being "too sharp", resulting in a video looking a bit weird to me :)
