How is a hair botox treatment applied? Botox for hair, like the Arual botox relaxer offered by the Arual brand, has nothing to do with the one used to combat wrinkles on the skin. The procedure is completely painless and very simple, lasting approximately 90 minutes. It is applied directly to the hair fiber by means of massages and heat. Here we explain the steps to follow: Wash the hair and dry the hair to approximately 80%. Apply the first product layer by layer using a comb and then massage. Care must be taken to leave 1 cm to the root to avoid excess oil on the scalp. Leave to act for 20 to 45 minutes depending on the degree of smoothing that we want to achieve. Dry the hair with a dryer alternating hot and cold air. Iron the hair in very fine locks with the iron at 180-230 degrees, making 7 to 9 passes per lock. In this way we will seal the hair cuticle so that the product remains well adhered to the hair. Let the hair cool for 5 minutes before moving on to the next step. Rinse hair with plenty of water. Apply the second product (sealing) and leave it to act for 10 minutes. Rinse again abundantly and dry with a dryer at 100%. The treatment begins with a shampoo to open your hair cuticles and prepare the strands for conditioning. The hair Botox is then applied to the strands by massaging the product on from root to tips. The treatment is left on wet hair for a period of time, usually between 20-45minutes.
