People can have several different textures in their hair. Besides, according to the texture chart, hair that has ANY pattern is curly and/or wavy. I started wearing a satin bonnet and I'm multi ethnic (Italian and African American). The satin or silk bonnets, like ITSMECC says, helps with dryness, breaking ect, which all hair types can experience.
