Hair Care Routine|How I Retwist My Locs 

Honestly, I don't understand why people freak out about folks with locs and how they don't wash their hair (talking about black people). Even with loose natural hair I don't wash my hair super often bc as black people our hair is soooo DRY we have to put oil in it anyways. If I'm really good, I wash my hair once a month. I'm lazy. With loose natural hair, I wash it and put in only 3 products to moisturize it (that includes oils and all). I put in mini twists tie it up at night. Moisturize it when I need to (every other week probs). I work out and everything, my hair isn't super funky; I still take care of it. But I keep it very simple and to the point AND I very much care about what it is I put in my body as well. I drink lots of water and eat healthy and I manage my stress. I don't have scalp issues or anything weird. It doesn't itch or flake up real bad. As a result, my hair has grown quite a bit bc I keep it simple and I leave my hair alone. Our hair isn't made to be washed every 5 seconds in the first place.

Hey sis, I love your routine but I'm concerned about all the "creamy" products you are using. You may not realize it but you've got a lot of residue embedded in your locs and they show at the end of your bid (I see white all over)

I had my dreads for 1 year and I tried this style and my dreads always undo them their self w them rubber banded and all. What does this mean ?
