I’ve been dying my hair purple (manic panic /artic Fox) for 15+ years... no matter what you use you can’t expect your brown hair to look the same as your blonde, that’s just not how hair dye works.
That wasn't the issue here, I knew brown was going to stay brown as that's how I styled my hair at that point. Because of my user error, the color was uneven on the actual blonde parts.
I'm not sure what the problem is. Your hair looks beautiful. Manic panic is a fantastic hair dye product and frankly, there would be no Arctic Fox with out manic panic. They started the temporary crazy colors.
I know that I'm a year late to the party, but your hair looks gorgeous! It has SO much dimension, it just looks absolutely incredible! Best happy accident I've ever seen 😘
Yeah exactly! Hairdressers usually go for varying tones and more dimension than just one flat colour all the way through, that's actually how they can usually tell the difference between a professional and unprofessional dye job haha
Looks great on camera. You wouldn't want a solid all-over coverage anyway. It's like having "natural" purple hair with natural highlights. I think it looks very expensive and professional.
Manic panic has a newer formula called formula 40, it's a hot topic exclusive, but the vampire red has been in my hair for over 6 months and it's still pretty red, just closer to a deep rose color now
If your hair is Different tones it will be Darker or Lighter in parts but I think this colour looks Lovely on you am Doing mine purple this week mine needs Doing again
I like the vibrancy of this purple over the Artic Fox Purple Rain video. Both looked great, just liked this one more. Definitely going to try this one 😀
I’m a professional stylist & tried this exact color line (gel color was Pink Warrior). My client is a natural level 3, and I’ve been doing her hair all over pink for the past 7yrs. Anywho, We used Special Effects hair color in the past but we had to switch to something else because we can no longer find that brand anymore. We tried Manic Panic Prof Gel. I lifted her hair to a level 8, applied this color and same thing happens to her. It’s all pink, but in some spots it looks like the hair absorbed more color because some spots are a brighter pink and some spots are a darker pink.
@@slashedbeauty no we made the same mistake, we dried her hair before we applied the color. When she sent me after pics, I saw your video and told her to try applying it again over wet hair to see if it would even out some of the color. We’ll see what happens 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Manic Panic hair Gel??? I have heard of Manic Panic Hair Dye... But not the Gel. I wonder what the difference is??? I am also a Artic Fox Fan over Manic Panic. Manic Panic hair Dye did not help my poor hair like Artic Fox help me hair. Artic Fox is also a hair mask.
Manic Panic sucks, I'm sorry to say but the color doesn't last 30 days. Not even dude, its like 5 days until it starts to fade. Artic fox dye is amazing and shows way better results! (Even without using bleach) I'm sorry to see that you had a bad experience, but girl.. did you really think it was gunna work? Like its gel dude... lol
Yeah arctic fox lasts way longer than this, and the color is just more even. I heard so many great things about this new formula (it's different than their typical stuff you buy at sally-- it's pro use only) so I thought maybe it could actually live up to the claims!
It depends on your hair. I have coarse, porous hair, and manic panic lasts for months for me, until I actively start trying to remove it. I've also tried arctic fox (that smell dude...just no for me), and a few others, but for ME, MP works the best. The professional gel stuff works even better, though I have to order it from the UK to get my hands on it, as I'm not a professional.
