I'm from the UK and I use a strong hair spray to lock in the fibres and it stays water proof with the rain, also a tip is to use dermatch before you apply hair fibres which gives you a really nice base and ensures that if you get extra wet you won't see any of the scalp, trust me by dermatch it's awesome with the fibres
I been using toppik for 12 years now and consider myself and expert. Never seen it turn green btw. Use hair spray of your preference with a strong hold and spray it right after toppik and you won’t need anything else. No matter how strong the wind is toppik won’t fall off. I live in Chicago btw lol😅. The applicator works fine just don’t spray it to close and do light pumps. Any questions let me know.
I’m so grateful I found this video. I am a woman with alopecia areata and finally my spots are all growing in but I need a bit of cover up. I saw Caboki but now know toppik is better. And all the tips and tricks were so helpful! My husband will probably love the beard trick!
@@CesarCinema Sorry to bother you bro quick question . If example if you're like at the gym and your doing cardio like on treadmill and your sweating alot does it start running down on to your forehead? 😓 "Anyone Please" Salute to you all 🫡
Thanks for the tips Caesar. I like to use both Caboki and Toppik simultaneously. I Generally like using the Caboki on a light bottom layer and dust the top with the Toppik. I also like using a spritzing hair spray, because pressurized hair spray sometimes have the tendency blow some of the product off of the head.
Just sharing my experience (not to argue with Caesar) regarding wet hair + any hair fiber product I've been using Aveda Invanti scalp revitalizer (does it work?...meh debateable) as a hair gel....expensive but I kinda get it for free from family member who thinks its works...anyway I digress. What I usually do and it work and last the whole day (my record is 12 hours before I just desperate to wash my hair) with Caboki are as follow: 1. wet your hair, comb it temporarily 2. apply aveda invanti evenly all over your hair (this may have work with other hair gel product) 3. wait for aveda invanti to dry (usually 15 minutes, 5 minutes if you're in a rush, but 15 minutes for that oily feeling to dry off) 4. wet your hair again, and comb your hair to your hairstyle 5. while your hair still wet, apply caboki In my case the caboki will still fall to the scalp and some stick to the hair (longer that when your hair is dry), and the caboki is more wind resistant when applied this way. PS: I never see caboki fiber turns green, I had it falling all over my sink (and usually its wet), again just my opinion based from my observation so far. When using hair fiber, especially Caboki: 1. Do NOT get your hair wet with water (after applying caboki, before like my procedure is fine but NOT after), water is simply enemy and will wash Caboki away (bring umbrella during rainy season). And yes, no caboki while you're swimming as well. 2. Do NOT scratch your head, you will literally scrape the caboki out (no pain no gain, practice self control to resist scratching itchy scalp) 3. Avoid a very strong wind, it will blow some of the fiber away, kinda reduce the concealment effect
Thanks for your video. I am new with hair fibre. My question is how to use pomade to make it water resistant? Do you spply a small amount first to your hair and let it dry then apply toppik? Thanks
Excellent video and tips, advice! I’ve been using topik/ medium brown for about 6 years, I have a small bald spot in the back of my head. Although I enjoy using it, sometimes it turns (green). I dont know if it’s from the hair spray or what, but any feedback would be appreciated!!! Thanku💯💯💯
Hair Illusions- is definitely a superior product I’ve used both one of the issues with topics instead he has a powdery kind of consistency to it we has with her allusions it’s actually fiber hair fiber therefore it doesn’t go on as thick loos natural
I started using hair illusions , I use hair illusions for the top crown area where it's lightly balding and toppik as a touch up for the small areas they work well together. I also dyed my hair to match the fiber color.
I think the “how long does it last”question is asking how long it lasts on the head, not how long the product in the jar last as the answer to that is obvious depending on what size product you buy and how much/how often you use it. So, how long do these products last ON THE HEAD? Is it from applying to shampooing your hair or?
Hey Ceasar! great video! Do I put my gel - actually I used palmade in after the hair fibers OR do I gel first, let it dry and then the hair fibers? How will gel affect it?
Hey, you said that you want the fibers to get down to your scalp, which is why you hair can't be wet. Makes sense. Then you said to use some pomade beforehand and the fibers would stick like crazy to your hair. But won't that ALSO prevent the fibers from reaching your scalp, like if your hair was wet? I was a bit confused on that part. I'd not thought of using the pomade in conjunction with the fibers & sounds interesting but wanted to ask that first!
Use a slight amount of pomade and you should be fine. You might have a few fibers stick to the hair n not make it down to your scalp but you can try both methods and see what works for you.
I'm about ready to start using some hair fibers and I have 2 questions, if someone can answer me. Do the fibers cause more hair loss? I want to apply it on my crown area. Also, anyone experience breathing problems while using fibers? Maybe someone who's been using for years. But breathing in a little each day I would assume some is going to get into the lungs. And after years of using I'm just wondering the long term affect on lungs.
I’ve tried the hair fibers today , applied randomly , was spilling it on my forehead. But after all the mess , this product is a boon to balding men !! No words to describe.. Terrific results wow !!
Does Toppik clog hair follicles or cause hair loss? I hope it doesn't because it does a good job of making my hair look thick. It makes me confident. I just see comments from people who say it causes hair loss, which is what I'm trying to avoid.
I use cabooki but something changed in the product/ with the fibers. Earlier they would like stick to my hair. Like static electricity. Now it's more like dust/ash on my scalp. Something like what you explain with the angle of applying. So I will go for a new product. Probably topikk
If you got scalp micropig ....hair fibres are great added 3xtra. But.....if you use hairspray to lock it in...what about the alcohol content.? This will fade the micropig.
Is SMP a good option if I have diffuse thinning? Toppik works really well and makes my hair look dense. I think if I had SMP, it would last a long time, and I wouldn't have to use Toppik every day.
Muy bueno amigo el tutorial , por favor si puede habilitar el botón de subtitulos para idioma de youtube, porque soy español y es un poco difícil entender el ingles para mi. Gracias
I use it for long time now and makes my hair dirty when’s I clean wash dry my hair there are still and won’t easily get off fiber and becoming white an I have a black hair is anyone same experience like me
Dunno if you've explained this before but why not get hair transplant? Seems like a hassle to do this every time you go out...? Can be expensive but maybe you can afford it, just sayin lol
I wouldn’t get a transplant until I’m almost completely bald. I feel If I get a hair transplant now I’ll prolly need another one in 5 years or so. For right now I’m cool with using hair fiber.
@@Hellenicheavymetal I just had my 3rd hair transplant procedure, hasn't been long enough to see the effects of the third one yet (4 months) but I can tell there is improvement. Anyway, I was totally bald up top, lots of hair in back (think Hulk Hogan). After 2 procedures it was like night & day, and the 3rd was just to "fill in" a few lingering thin areas. Am using Strand Builder (is like Toppik I think, just was what Bosley recommended) to thicken areas till the 3rd procedure results kick in fully. But I know I'm using it less & less often by the week! If one can afford it, a transplant is definitely the way to go. But like our host here says, you need to wait till you've lost most of the hair you're gonna lose or else you'll have to have more surgeries in time. I waited till I hit 50 before I had my first one in 2019. Second one in 2020, and third one this past September (2021).
Im in Mexico , I order the refills thru ebay Mexico , way chipper than buying toppik in the only 3 places where they sell toppik, which are big expensive stores like Nordstroms, i play soccer in the rain with toppik on and is cool if its only small breeze otherwise is gone. The pillow is filled with fibers jajajja , but your video is really good.
@@CesarCinema only used it about 3 times so far. It almost makes like a leopard print pattern on scalp. I apply it with the bottle straight up and down like you showed. Any suggestions? Thank you
Yes you might be to close to the scalp. Try being a lil further from his head. Try to use a fan (small piece of cardboard) to evenly distributed the fiber after applying.
... propecia DOES help PREVENT hairloss....$60 for 30 days..... BUT.... FINASTERIDE... (For colon cancer but my doc gave me with no probs).... Is $15 for 120 days... Just cut each pill into quarters.... I got drunk with a pharmacist once lol.
