Hair Growth Regimen 2016: Living with Alopecia 

Hair stuff bucket. 2:00 Black Castor oil - 5 min scalp massages 2-3x a week. All over the head. Circular motion 2:36 Jojoba oil - mix with Castor oil sometimes for massages. 3:00 All products are from Shea moisture coconut and hibiscus b/c others seem drying. 3:17 Add a capful of castor oil to each product and shake it shake it shake it. Shampoo, conditioner, and leave in. 4:20 curry dew + shea moisture conditioner 4:50 Steaming scalp and face neck back 5:38 growth elixir: water aloe v juice, peppermint, rosemary and a drop of JBCO 8:50 have to be so patient and consistent to see hair growth. After 6 months I saw results Then a year I saw it was working and I just kept going.

just learnt i should pray for my hair, very important. This is what we mean when we say God can use anything and anyone.

so happy for you and all I can say is Amen I lost my hair due to stress, lack of sleep and iron deficiency. I had all kind of things going on and my hair was so healthy and my life was so busy I wasn't really paying attention to the hair loss until one day I had sometime to myself and I looked in the mirror and saw thinning and before I knew it I was going bald I tried growing with braids took it out more covering with weaves and sew ins and looked up had no edges. so I started taking my proper vitamins and eating better and it's growing back slowly but I do see lots of improvement. after watching this video I know I'm missing something and that's prayer and not just for my hair but removing stressful things out of my life. I know that stress can effect the entire body and yet I still worry but I am encouraged after watching this video thank you for sharing

I agree with what you are saying. When something goes wrong with your hair it's a sign that something in your life needs to change. I was being lazy, not taking the vits that the doctor told me to take YEARS ago, not drinking water I KNEW I was supposed to be drinking, etc, etc. I wasn't doing right so my hair fell out. I'm doing better so my hair is doing better. Awww what a cute baby, that was me 15 years ago. Sigh....

Great video sis!!! U are so full of life and energy. I just recently shaved my head because my hair was so damaged and my edges are just gone. I've been applying natural oils and a leave in daily.I wear a lot of wigs and I really think they are affecting my edges. I also wear a lot of headwraps, but just recently, my job decided to enforce the NO HEADWRAP POLICY, so thats not an option anymore. I'm trying to work up the confidence tO just wear my natural hair and your video has pushed me a little bit further in being comfortable in doing thaT. Everyday I pray and ask God to please restore my hair. Thank u so much for the encouragement!!

I love you, you remind me of one of my friends. I'm so glad I found you. I was diagnosed in October with Alopecia Androgenetic although my mother doesn't have it. But I only just realized that I had not prayed and ask God to heal me. I couldn't believe it, because I know he cares about everything in our lives. So I just started praying. I'm trying Henna, essential oils, biotin and saw pslmetto. Its still coming out although has slowed down but my hair is very fine and curly its easy to see where it has thinned out on the crown and sides, especially on the right. I will start adding the Jbco. I found my current regimen from curly proverb. I get discouraged but I won't give up, I too have never worn a full wig, right now I can where up in a puff cuff or attach a pony tail. Hopefully I won't need a wig.
