I’ve been talking about my hair growth journey with Nutrafol for well over a year now. Last year I tracked it every month and saw serious results. Well now I’m back with a bob lol..should I do it again?
Thank you!!! and no great question, I think the growth itself was regular growth. BUT my length retention was really where i saw the difference. Like my hair never got past shoulder-length cause it broke off so easily, but with these i noticed the hair stayed, i had less shedding and it felt thicker throughout
@@1melissawhatnow it doesn't actually because hair is dead. once hair emerges from the follicle it is dead. it dies immediately. the nutrients that you put in your body cannot help hair because it is already dead. topical things can help the health of hair but anything ingested can only help what lies beneath your scalp. so, the pills could only help with growth not length retention. but the growth that we see here is super normal. nothing spectacular happened in a year. it seems like she just learned how to care for her hair and ends better.
I used to think my hair didn't grow at all!! until i realized my hair was just breaking off on the ends, so i focused on length retention methods as well.
I started taking Nutrafol. You may be suffering from what I was having trouble with when I thought my hair wasn't growing. iI was... but it was breaking off at the same rate it was growing so it always looked the same length. Nutrafol really helped my hair strands and prevented a lot of shedding. (MD hair is also a great cheaper option)
sooo idk if it makes my hair grow longer, but it does provide a lot of nutrients/vitamins that i'm probably lacking in my diet (especially vitamin D) that got my hair growing at a more "normal rate". I think the main thing it does is help with length retention. My hair that's coming in is so much stronger and less prone to breakage and shedding. My hair would grow but would break off at the same rate, so it never felt like it was growing past my shoulders. I think that's really where Nutrafol helped the most at the time.
Yes it did! I had a serious problem with breakage so my hair would never really go past my shoulders. To have it down my back approaching bra strap length was huge for me! And also way less shedding on wash days.
From July 2021 to July 2022 there was a 5 3/4 inch difference. there were a few mini cuts in there along the way to keep everything except my alopecia spot even too
Average from a general sense, but not specifically for me and my hair... I never was able to retain length past my shoulders since my breakage was so bad and these helped my strands be stronger from the inside out and not break off :)
hopefully you're smart enough to not fall for what this lady keeps saying. it is literally scientifically impossible for anything you ingest to have any effect on the strands of hair that have already grown out of your scalp as they are dead. she must be getting paid to promote this product. things you ingest can affect the hair before emerges the scalp though. but there's no way for this supplement to have affected the ends of her hair.

It's just fun way for me to share with a community who struggles with the same type of stuff I do. So yeah I'm just sharing my experience. My hair wasn't growing due to lack of proper nutrients. Those nutrients are found in the ingredients of the nutrafol vitamins (and many other vitamins too, I just happened to try these and liked them) like B vitamins, zinc, iron, Vitamin D etc. I actually got blood work done prior to taking these and it was recommended by my doctor as all of these have an affect on hair and hair growth. I also struggle with alopecia in which this has been helpful to me as well due to these ingredients that I wasn't getting in my diet, and also help control my stress levels which has also caused my hair loss, in part. This video is pushing 3 years old now, I have had a complete change in my diet and no longer struggle with what I did back then. I always encourage you to do your own research, ask a doctor, and whatever else you feel makes you comfortable before buying a product. I gain or lose nothing by showing that this product helped me. Just hopefully if someone is interested they can look it up for themselves.
And also I will clarify I agree, nothing I ingest can affect the hair after it emerges. In this video i tracked my hair growth from a bob cut over the course of a year. So i cut off all damaged ends, leaving only healthy hair. So when I say from the inside out I mean the vitamin helped the hair from the inside as it grew out of my hair, making those new strands stronger with less shedding and breakage.
Liquid biotin works better and cheaper honestly Get you the future kind prenatal and that combo will have you clear skin king hair asap that was a lot of months for lil progress sorry not tryna be negative just my honest opinion
thanks for the suggestion! High doses of biotin give me heart palpitations sometimes so I usually stay away. I will share for me It was definitely not little progress though because of the state of my hair at the start, multiple cuts to get rid of more damage along the way and that my hair for years did not retain length past my shoulders for years.
