I read a woman used oil to get rid of henna from her hair because she didn't like it and it worked, so I have been waiting 3 weeks after I henna to oil my hair. I'm glad I don't have to wait 3 weeks my hair is dry!

you should apply henna on washed hair so that the color would reach the hair easily. If it is oily, it will create a barrier between the hair and henna. It is also recommended to avoid conditioner when you wash hair to apply henna. Hope that helps.
