Another great video Sam! 👍 I have to say I'm not a fan of ultra hold glue either as I find after a few days the front part of the system looks dirty so I use ghost bond platinum which gives an amazing hold. 😁

Hi David, thanks and I know what you mean. I'm finding my skin doesn't like glue that much so I have to stick with tape but may try the gb platinum again as would be better with my new lave syatem I'm putting on this week

Looking great, and excellent tips, Sam! If you like the Ultra Hold and hate the mess there is a great alternative. I switched to their 4 ounce plastic dispenser bottle and use that for the entire perimeter of my poly unit. I apply it all around the perimeter, about 1" wide, while the unit is upside down on a manequin head. I start with about a 6" strip, (to prevent it dripping into hair), spread immediately with a disposable brush, and continue all around. You do have to give a quick little twist at the end of each line, but the learning curve on that is shallow (I twist and then touch the bottle tip gently to the top of the poly unit). Great bond, and clean up is so fast and easy it is amazing. C-22 and cotton makeup pads. No stress put on my thin skin poly unit. I used to use Supertape on all but the hairline and removing them was a pain in the ass. I learned this from Rick on his Superhairpieces video. It's been a game changer for me. Oily scalp though and I do a wash and re-fit every 5 days. Dave

Thanks Dave, great info and im going to try that myself. Shame with the hold time you get. I take you have tried multiple types of glues and tape?

@@SpartanV Yes, I have. A few varieties of Walker's and the Ghost Bond. I suspect my oily scalp is the culprit. Actually though, it works out well. It gives me the opportunity to give my system a complete cleaning every 5 days, and it always looks especially great when freshly washed.

I've heard Silicone mix every few weeks helps keep hair in good condition.
